Yes they put the front lower A-arms off a Raptor and a lot of trimming to fit the 37’s.
Method 701’s 18”x9” +18 offset.

That’s very interesting, even if the spacers are swapped it still holds the shock in the same location? Outside marking in the spacer is inside and shocks swapped? Sucks if you have to go get it done at a shop. But if my dealer did it that way, that makes me feel better, knowing it’s how RL...
No, my dealer did it. They did a Non CCD vehicle and I wanted the lift as well. They said they would install the lift not knowing the differences with the CCD’s. They said the solenoid was in the way. Hitting the CV boot/axle. But if they flipped them side to side they thought it would work. I...
Swapping the front shocks side to side was the answer before they came out with a CCD kit. Mine have been that way for two years.

It’s a platinum, so it has a sunroof. I have not seen a static load limit published by Ford. If I wasn’t excited about the Gen5’s and planned on keeping mine a little longer I would probably cut mine up. Looks pretty mean for a soccer mom car.

Who else was excited to hear some turbo whistle when they read the post? I didn’t hear much of anything. Welcome to the Gen4’s.

Redtail Overland has put a Raptor front end on a Expy Max and 37” tires. Going to call ADD about that bumper on Monday. They say it’s a Ford Raptor stealth bumper.

My 2016 F-150 with the 3.5 EB and 6 speed gets the exact same MPG as my 2019 Expy MAX with the 10 speed pulling the exact same loads the same distance and speed. Tons of boost but no eco. If the boost gauge is up the fuel mileage is down. 10 MPG or less is pretty common.

You guys need to be measuring from the center of the wheel to the fender. It takes the tire out of the equation.
Need a full ride report in the ICON’s.

I have the MAX and my F-150 had the 36 gallon tank. The smaller tank misses all our usual gas stops even though the MPG is the same. Can’t even imagine the regular sized Expy tank.

Mine sits a lot and I have never heard that. My wife’s Aviator you can hear the fuel pump prime and the lights make a smiley face as you walk up to it with the key in your pocket.

Old school yes. Not for the 10R80. Normal operating range is 206-215. 240 just brings it into the warning zone. Truck actually heats the tranny fluid up when it’s cold.

I will have to look at that trail and get back to you. I could go more places with rock sliders and a F@&k it attitude. I still want to keep it fairly nice for trade in or resale. I did order the LGE-CTS front bumper. It was 6-8 weeks out. At the end of the 8 weeks I called on it and they pushed...
I keep mine clean and spray Triflow on them. It seems to help. All brands are a bit finicky due to the safety pressures. It would be nice if they would let you override it to get them up or down when in a bind or for service.

With the shortage I could have made money last week. My wife dropped of her Aviator for service and they offered her 5k less than we bought if for. It’s one year old with 25k miles. Told her to look at their inventory before they took her home. She said they didn’t have much. I dropped her off...
In theory your truck will go into limp mode due to engine temp at 250 or so. Well before the transmission fluid is in danger as they both use the radiator fluid for cooling. If you have FORscan it’s nice to have both engine and transmission temps displayed above the gauge. I tow my boat in...
At this point you should wait for a 2022 and see if it goes Gen5. I don’t think I would want anything built during the COVID hangover.

No, it’s the speed that kills the MPG’s IMO. The extra weight didn’t bother the truck at all. I think I could get 19-20 if I took a long trip at no greater than 65 MPH Expy by itself. But it would drive me nuts. In Utah our freeways are 80 MPH and that kills it even more. I found the same to be...
Best mileage I have ever seen with my lifted Platinum Max with HD tow was 19 MPG towing a 14’ Uhaul enclosed trailer full of furniture across Wyoming. Anything over 65 mph the trailer would get a crazy vibration that would come back into the cabin like driving over rumble strips. It was a one...
