Who has put the Expedition shocks on both the front and the rear? I’m understanding they give about 1.6" front and back in lift?

You guys need to be measuring from the center of the wheel to the fender. It takes the tire out of the equation.
Need a full ride report in the ICON’s.

Ha! I'm just giving the people what they want. Seems like the cool thing to do in this thread. Will only have pavement time to feel them out for a week, but going up to my cabin next weekend and will bump them around a bit and report back.
what is the increase in ground clearance at the differentials?
1" for me (counts tire size increase)

Just finished installing the set of Bilstein struts/shocks, did and oil change, installed that quick valve oil plug, rotated the tires and did a DIY alignment.
1. watch this video before and during installing:

So what's the consensus on spring perch settings front/rear on the Expedition specific Bilstein 5100's? I have a set being delivered today to replace my RL 3/2 and would like to get them set right the first time.
It looks like a lot of people are setting the fronts to max (1.6") and the rears one notch down from the top (1.1"). I may be wrong, or it could just be the perspective from the photos, but this setting appears to leave the front end a bit higher than the rear. I'd prefer a more level stance or, if anything, I'd prefer the rear to be slightly higher than the front.
Anyone have a level side shot of their Expedition with the Bilsteins set to max height front and back? Also, if you have center of hub to fender measurements, that'd be much appreciated!
No. Shocks do not determine towing capacities.
