Does anyone know if he is running a lift and which one? I think I see ICON UCA in some pics?

    Best 12V Tire Inflator?

Looking for the "best" tire inflator that can run off of a 12V car socket. Obviously, truck rated and looking to be able to reinflate 35 inch tires from 10PSI back to 35PSI in a reasonable amount of time and not overheating. Amazon has some that are into the $200-300s and was hoping to spend...

    Bilstein 5100 Lift Install

I measured mine from the center of the hub to the top of the fender (the true indicator of lift eliminating the increase in tire size) and got: 23.0 inches front, 23.25 rear-- truck empty, full tank of fuel. This measurement should be close when measuring apples to apples (Exes to Exes). Still...

    Trans re-learn time?

Ugh. I think the 10-spd is not brilliant. Maybe go into the dealership for an updated "reflash?" Or does the old school, disconnect the battery for a few hours still work?

Can we talk HD Tow one more time?

Question: Why is my GAWR (3375f + 4380r) 7755lbs, yet that exceeds my GVWR (7450lbs)? My payload capacity is also 1746lbs.

    Suspension options?

You've come to the right place, but the wrong vehicle perhaps... The Expy is good, but limited off-road. ICON is the real deal, Bilsteins a close second with 34.3-34.5s doable with some minor trimming and proper backspacing at full flex. Just check a lot of my recent threads, posts and...

Can anyone give me the thread/pitch size of the factory wheel studs? Thx!

    Removed Front Airdam

Another big day yesterday... Decided even though my Airdam was the stubby FX4 one (roughly 2.75 inches) I figured I'd keep it on after the lift. But... well... umm... Removing it is pretty straight forward, but I would consider getting the nose up on ramps to make your life easier. To keep...

    Removing front air dam?

Removed mine today (even though it was the short FX4 one) and moved the wheel liners so I will do another thread later.

The Nitto 295/70-18 (34.3x11.7) Fits in Spare Tire Well (LONG)

The Nitto 295/70-18 (34.3x11.7) Fits in the Factory Spare Tire Well! BACKGROUND: My very willing local, intrepid, fearless 'mech signed on for the experiment. Just prior to my project, I procured an additional factory FX4 rim to fit Nitto #5. I wanted to have a full size-spare with me at all...

    Nitto Terra Grappler G2 295/70 R18 116S Actual Dimensions

DAGNABIT I can't correct my mistake. Please note I made an error on the ACTUAL NITTO measurements when mounted and aired (sloppy measurements on my part) They are EXACTLY 34.3 x 11.7s when aired on the rims, as per Nitto's specs.

    Are you keeping your tires?

I will be selling mine, and possibly the spare w/rim depending.

    Bilstein 5100 Lift Install

LOL well I missed a few! Today I am measuring center of wheel hub to top of fender, the real indicator of "lift" that eliminates the tire factor. Or you can even measure top of fender from the ground just for an overall. I'd like to know if you got 3 inches of front lift to why I only have...

OK- what sound is THIS? TDI mod?

Oh my  Stop driving that and get it in to a dealership ASAP please. I was expecting to hear the normal loosey-goosey wastegate babble. That sounds really bad!

    Who is running wheel spacers?

In answer to a previous question, yes--there are a lot of threads left over with the .25 spacer, but am considering longer studs to support either a .375 or .5 spacer, TBD once I play with the vehicle in flexing situations.

How Many Here Run F150 Bilsteins Front Shocks?

No worries WB, and you may be spot on but the rings on the shock sure seem nearly "1-to-1" meaning if you want 2 inches of lift, there should be the corresponding ring on the Bils to match it as the first rings also always start at "Zero Lift".but the whole thing makes me wonder about a lot of...
