2022 King Ranch Max on Dealer Lot Video

I’m also not a fan of the screen (Tesla does it so everyone else has to do it?) at least the climate controls are ever-present, which is something. But…what does it look like at night? Are you driving with a big flashlight pointing at you? No wonder people want brighter and brighter headlights...

yes, that's what I would be thinking. don't use the spacer and use the Bilstein adjustment to set the ride.

    Towing and fuel economy report

For those who might be interested in the capability, here’s a quick topping report. First long trip while towing (max 4wd, w/o tow) something substantial: a 2-horse trailer and 2 small horses. Approximately 3300lbs there and 4400lbs back. Used a WDH. There is occasional slight vibration, but...

    Install ALLA Fog Lights process?

Yes, I have a similar style without the boxes. As long as they are the correct size, you will be good. As a side note, I’ve seen some internet arguments regarding which ones are best, but I didn’t pay much attention. They fit and they work.

    2021 Expedition production video-Youtube

Still a lot of people to actually put parts on (saw that at the Dearborn plant, too - I second the recommendation to take a tour). Notice how after the vehicle is painted, the doors are taken off, run a parallel path to the body as bits are put on them, then assembled back onto the body.

Rough Country 18+ 3" lift - a Real Lift kit!!

If it does what it says on the box, that’s a good price. Is that all the parts that are in the kit? Just replaces 2 shocks? (Looks like there is a spacer so perhaps original shocks are used at one end).

    Rivets in roof

Not much ‘rust’ will form, there, considering it’s aluminum. The problem would be water leakage (which I do not think is likely). The trim piece does not solve any problem beyond hiding the seam. However water runs toward the front and rear of the vehicle along the gully where the seam is and...

    Rivets in roof

I have those welds, too. You cannot see them unless you are about 8 feet tall. They are in the recess under the rails. As noted, there should be a trim piece which covers them up (I do not have any trim in a 2019 max).

    2021 XLT FX4 Halogens - Help!

With regards the color temperature. Most LEDs are 6000k which is quite white. I’ve found that it washes out a lot of color in what it’s illuminating - particularly natural vegetation. I added yellow covers to my A pillar lights to warm things up a bit. Not sure how much it helps.

Let's See Those Lifted / Big Tire Gen 4s!!

Looks like you have the stealth: may as well go all the way. Several people have done it. It finishes it off nicely.

    2021 XLT FX4 Halogens - Help!

Yes, high heat is a killer for electronics. So, LEDs so have fans on a lot of them to remove some of that heat. And yes, the heat can cause them to dim/fail (not that I’ve ever experienced any dimming). Halogens and HIDs fail, also. But, they are replaceable. 5 years down the line, replace them...

    Hancock tires

Incorrect pressure, especially while towing can prematurely wear tires. Driving habits will also change the wear rate. Having said that, changing out the OEM tires is not a bad thing. Get better tires, and you will be happier. I don't have a recommendation from experience, but there are a few...

Best dealerships to order a 22 from? KY area or at least a days drive.

Did you try Hunt Ford (where I got mine) or Greenwood in BG? When I bought mine, at Hunt, price they advertised is what you pay+tax (no addons at all). I have better help at Greenwood service department, though.

Does 4x8 Plywood/Drywall Fit in the back of a 2022?

Which is a boon for any passengers, and while I don't carry passengers often (or 4x8 plywood), when I do, I'd like them to feel comfortable. Getting into the back seat of a Suburban was just plain embarrassing.

    21 Will not remove phone?

If had one glitch very early on (if I was patient, it’d probably fix itself) but this fixed it for me. Software programming skills are on the decline, so I expect a rise in these kind of issues over the coming years (windows 3.1 anybody? Just turn it off and on, again).

    AWD Mode

Depending on your tires: I have the OEM Hankooks which are marginal, so use 4A in wet conditions. The rear tires have slipped. The 4A helps keep things aligned. Better tires wouldnt have this problem.

    Cabin Air Filter

I did mine after around 20k miles. It wasn’t hugely dirty but had a few larger bits in it, so it’s doing it’s job. Once you’ve done it once, it isn’t too hard, as @Squark stated.

No Limited Slip Differential : What's the impact on Towing?

An LSD will make no difference in towing. That’s not what it’s for. In slippery, or more dynamic conditions, then it makes a difference. So, towing in slippery conditions, then yes it is worth it (e.g. boat ramp). All depends on your usage, though.
