    Auto stop benefit

Or that people don't like it, regardless of and perceived benefits or drawbacks. People are illogical and blithely do things against their best interests. Rather than argue the point, car manufacturers put the button in. But as already noted, the AS/S is a net benefit for Ford (and other...

    Painted 20" wheels

I’m interested in this. I’ve seen other vehicles use plastic-dip on the wheels. Sounds like a nice idea, as it can be removed (as long as you use a thick coat) quite easily if it looks horribly wrong.

    Painted 20" wheels

I can already hear all the body panels resonating to the overdriven subwoofer...

What Grade of Gas are you using?

Ethanol has a higher octane, but lower energy density (there's less energy per gallon than gasoline). The engine has to have the capability of adapting (or be tuned for) to that lower energy capacity. As LokiWolf says, modern engines have no problem with ethanol damage.

Theft Susceptibility -- and what to do about it

Move? Honestly, if they want in, they are going to get in, either high tech or low tech (brick).

    Shocks

Are they the blisteins with 3 position adjustable height? If so, what height did you set?

What Grade of Gas are you using?

One reason I wouldn't use the mid grade(s) - two tank pipes coming into the pump, but three grades: how is it mixed? Who knows!

The "Auto Stop-Start" is so annoying!!!!

Interesting. Mine is a late 2019 model, and I got that message. I’m not really offended by the Auto stop/start and was just experimenting with a few settings, and put it back (having bricked a system on my other car, I wasn’t about to goober things up with the new truck by doing some random...

Best oil to use in 2019 Expedition

The US service specifies a synthetic blend. Mexico service specifies a full synthetic. Either let the Ford service do it, as @Fozzy says, or use a reputable brand full synthetic (cost difference between full and semi is negligible) and a reputable filter.

The "Auto Stop-Start" is so annoying!!!!

The “service charging system soon” is related to the auto stop/start. It’s a common problem when disabling it in FORscan. Unfortunately, there isn’t a comprehensive and accurate list of settings for the 18+ Expedition. There’s a mish-mash of previous gen and F150 settings. my guess is, by...

3rd shock blown out on 2018 XLT

Wait, are Driver and passenger side different? I'm guessing they mean they only had one front shock in stock and the fronts are on back order...

    Adding Raptor front skid plate

Here’s a few photos. It appears to be ‘flatter’ than the raptor mounting position, as the rear mounting holes are slanted towards the front. Tightening the front bolts down seems to tilt the back down, but doesn’t make the mounting tabs level. I used the standard raptor front mounting brackets...

    Adding Raptor front skid plate

I could not find any threads regarding adding a Raptor front skid plate, just the other raptor skids and the FX4 front skid. I've added the Raptor front skid, bolts up to the front OK with the lip tucked nicely under the front bumper cover, but the two rear bolts - as expected - have nothing...

Carpeted cargo mat, incl 3rd row?

Likewise. Great fit, and allows the 3rd row to fold up and down without a hitch.

    275/60/20 on stock 2WD

Fantastic. They look a lot more substantial than the size would indicate. I would not have thought they would rub: do you have an idea where it was? in the turn was it on the inside or outside wheel?

Finally found our 2018 Expedition Platinum Max

I, also, went with Husky liners from Weathertech in the old truck. The Weathertech aren't bad, but I do think the Husky liners are better. Just put in the Canvasback liners for the cargo, third row and second row (that carpeting material grabs every bit of dirt, dust, wood splinter, dog hair...

    275/60/20 on stock 2WD

I have a hard time seeing where 275/60R20 could rub. It's probably 1/2" greater radius, and there seems like plenty of room, still - maybe for another 1"? The width is the same, so not likely to hit the upper control arm. If they don't rub on a +30 offset, they aren't likely to rub on a +44...

    '18 Grill removal

I'm also interested in this; the bumper removal part. From the description, it doesn't sound too bad, but the pictures by the OP 5150 pops have gone (they haven't posted in quite a while, so may not be monitoring the forum). I have had moderate success (on a different vehicle) using a hair...

    Forscan/Google Sheets - 18-20 Expy

There’s a 4th gen thread in the FORscan forum: https://www.expeditionforum.com/threads/4th-gen-expy-forscan-modifications.34227/ which has a link to an Expedition spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1iO4Uz1shNRwZv5gi2TKARDo2Y7lfSOMFj6Gott8g7yg/edit?usp=sharing There’s a tab...

    4th Gen Expy FORScan Modifications

I found that the Hyperflash settings for the 3rd gen (it already had zeroes in those spots) do not work for the 4th gen (2019). I had top use the F150 FORscan locations to eliminate the hyperflash. 726-27-01 x0xx xxxx xxxx Front Bulb Outage (0=disable) 726-27-02 xxxx xxxx x0xx Rear Bulb Outage...
