    Less to wrap with a Stealth Edition. ;) Honestly, i shouldn't have had to wrap ANY chrome on a Stealth Edition, but here we are.

    Most likely won't work, didn't work for me on my LC. There are however, kits available to fix that. Wasn't too bad and worked well. I found mine on Amazon a few years ago.

    You'll need to etch or do something to the chrome to get the paint to stick well enough. I had some chrome professionally painted on the front of my car and it still chipped and looked awful. Wrapping would be better, seems to stick better and holds up better over time.

    It's amazing how much space they take up, even stacked four high. I was so happy to sell my stock 22's with tires and get them out of my garage.

    Wrench while kicking down for a pass resulting in loss of power and me headed back through the slow lane (now going slower than them) to the shoulder, been there done that. Full transmission rebuild and the module was full of pages of codes. Six weeks without the truck. Good luck.

    You don't need a lift to run 33" tires. I moved to 275/70 R18 without a lift and then promptly went to Moab. While the move from 22's certainly improved the ride, it didn't transform the truck into a smooth offroad beast. Even aired down to 25psi, bad washboard roads still sucked with the CCD...

    Eh, you get all new fluid and filter when it's rebuilt/replaced every 50K miles, right? :D So sad. :(

    I had an Isuzu Pickup truck back in the day. It had a vent right under the steering wheel that the manual referred to as a "Knee level blower." I've never gotten sweaty knees but dang was that thing genius if you spread your knees just a little bit apart. :D

    Maintenance and small upgrade.

    Might consider a PPE transmission pan while you are in there doing all that and thinking about a fluid and filter change. It'll help with the cooling and also give you an actual drain plug so you can do the fluid easier in the future. You gotta pull the pan anyway for the current fluid change.

    The console pulls up from the rear, but be careful of all the wires and connectors below, you'll have to unclip them to get to the front, make sure you clip them all back.

    If you pull these things apart, you'll see that all the parts are plastic welded together. Likely they just replace the whole thing, which is usually very expensive. Sorta like the purple headlight problem. Got to replace the whole thing, which is $1200.

    Same size tires, smaller wheels. Definitely an improvement, but not a miracle. I went from 22's to 18's with about 0.5" taller tire I think. I have CCD on mine though, but it's about the easiest improvement you can make, but still spendy. That plus some improved suspension should help a lot.

    I'll never understand why manufacturers won't let you be more granular with your choices. I hate having everything bundled. Shift like normal with sport suspension. LET ME CHOOSE!

    Many were fixed under warranty. I'm guessing the new ones have fixed the issue because that's been a quiet subject around here lately. If you want the current drama, look into the transmission issues. That's kind of a bigger one.

    Heat and fishing line would be the first thing I'd try. Too easy to screw something up with prying, but if it's got the right adhesive, the fishing line should pop it right off. I've used it to make short work of factory installed badging that didn't have locator holes.

    Makes sense since there's not enough units in the system to perform all the recalls presently. Still waiting on my letter saying there's enough in stock to bring mine in.

    Wish this thing wasn't all plastic welded together. Would be nice to just pull the part, clean it up and wrap it in something that isn't disgusting chrome.
