Anyone install a Readylift leveling kit?

It was pretty silly looking for a few days. 2”front 2”rear and 33.5 aggressive ATs look just right now.

Ran 93 octane, turbos whistle really loud, and got 12.5 mpg

Been getting 15 with 87 on the lift and tires and same driving habits as before. I’ll try a reset and another tank. Got a highway trip Thursday so we’ll see. Never done 93 in this rig but other vehicles have and not seen a drop like this. Maybe she’s just sensitive. I have not been running my...

Anyone install a Readylift leveling kit?

How much are you sagging? There are a number of 2.5” rear spacers on eBay. Have not seen a 3” rear spacer. 3” in the rear MIGHT be doable if you can find someone to make them (couple of the eBay folks will do custom heights). Or you could go to a 2” front spacer though may need some trimming for...

Ran 93 octane, turbos whistle really loud, and got 12.5 mpg

My foot is no different than any other tank of gas so not sure why it is much louder. As for changing to 93 the computer should adjust itself no need for a reset simply for using a different octane level.

Anyone seen SS brake hoses or Goodyear Gatorback belts??

I’d like to swap to SS brake hoses and about time for a new alternator belt. I can’t find SS hoses anywhere nor can I find the Goodyear Gatorback belt for our trucks. I found the Continental V-Rib belt which is a fine OEM replacement but prefer the Gatorback just can’t find them.

Ran 93 octane, turbos whistle really loud, and got 12.5 mpg

Not sure what is going on. I do pretty much zero highway driving and a fair amount of sitting waiting for kiddos at school so I get a pretty consistent 15 mpg when I do highway I get about 20mpg. Folks have claimed better mpg with 93 so figured I’d give it a go. Ran the 87 tank about as empty as...

    OEM Raptor Wheels and Tires

Looks good. Going to modify the center cap or grind down the axle shafts in the rear?

    android interface for sync 3

I have contacted Phoenix, Linkswell, and a couple others as well. All have stated they loose rear HVAC controls and don’t have much interest so resources are put to other models. Glad to hear they are still working on it.

    android interface for sync 3

Just watched the video Granted the video is for a Mustang but it appears that this is not a replacement unit but an add on/piggyback system that essentially side loads some Android features to the Sync system via USB. So I am guessing you get a android box that you plug into Syncs USB and some...

    android interface for sync 3

Looks like a start. Still running Android 6 and only has 2gb RAM and 16gb storage which leads me to believe it only has a dual core processor, possibly quad core. Says Sync3 only but in the description it says for Nav screen and no Nav Screen models. I did not think the non nav screen was Sync3

Anyone install a Readylift leveling kit?

You can if you are not using a spacer. You can’t safely run a spacer on top of a 5100. The 5100 body and shaft are not the same length as the factory shock. Even though there is a factory ride height setting the spring perch ring is not the same height as factory and the body and shaft being...

2015 Expedition and 3.5 Ecoboost Lifespan?

Something the dealership I bought from offers on many of their used vehicles. Scheduled Maintenance must be performed by an ASE certified shop, oil must be changed and tires rotate every 5k by an ASE certified shop. The dealer I purchased from must inspect the vehicle every 5 years. I was...

How long did your OEM tires last?

I bought the truck with 46k and the Goodyear Wranglers on them were toast (I can only presume they were original. I made the dealer replace them before I purchased. I just pulled the Wranglers the dealer put on with 15k miles (rotated every 5k) and looked pretty much brand new. I sold them on...

    Upper Control Arms

Been reading and reviews appear to be good and they are made in the USA. Their website says that they will not work with factory wheels. Also states it uses a standard ball joint. So two big negatives.

    Upper Control Arms

They aren’t “needed” but a good idea. You/we will put more wear on the factory ball joints. Not a severe detriment but they’ll certainly need replacing quicker than if not lifted. Tuff Country appears so be one of those entry level companies. Certainly better than OEM for the price. Interested...

HELP! Aftermarket Amps/Speakers in 2017 Exp with 6 Speaker Sync

@1955moose There is no aftermarket Headunit that can be used in place of the factory system for the 15+ models at the moment. The issue being Ford was kind enough to integrate the HVAC controls into the audio system. While the F150 system has been cracked by aftermarket factory integration...

Good things ARE coming our way from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, or so they say

Off Roading is of course a relative term. Not rock climbing or bouldering but I did some pretty solid trails with my 5100/4600 combo and my expectations were far exceeded. Again I realize we are essentially off roading a school bus so sure we aren’t going to run serious trails and the like but...

Good things ARE coming our way from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, or so they say

True, but most folks tend to use and aftermarket wheel and wider tire as well so generally a good idea to tread lightly thinking something will work until it is verified. My unexpected 4” lift from the F150 5100s is a great example. No way did I ever expect that much differentiation.
