If Ford found out the engine covers were causing fires and didn’t immediately issue a recall they’d be effed.
Curious what a “performance” engine cover does?
That’s some serious mileage for a 2020. Must be lots of highway travel? Certainly check tires, probably original. Check oil change records. Hope they changed it a bunch of times and didn’t just say “ah it only needs it once a year”. Good luck with it!
The owners manual, at least for the Lincoln is essentially useless in understanding the mode of operation associated with each drive mode.

Exactly. But a 10 year old vehicle with 75,000 could simply have been a commuter car or an around town car. My wife’s vehicles are driven daily and only put on MAYBE 10k a year.
Either way, if people think they can get low mileage cars for the same as high mileage then go for it. I think...

Yep. Right now EV’s are pretty squarely bought by those who aren’t renting apartments. Luxury condos/townhomes, private golf courses, high end malls etc all have EV charging stations. Heck some high schools in nice areas have them.

I have found that the most extreme setting (mud/ruts where you have to put navigator into neutral to engage) generally works less well than deep snow mode in, well, deep snow. There’s a whole bunch of programming and processing magic that happens in snow mode where as the more hardcore mode...

On a snow covered highway while it’s snowing you’re in 2wd? I’m not going to argue because you’re in Canada but I’m pretty far north in the US and drive all the time through snowstorms and there’s no way I’d keep it in 2. I do it every now and again (of the road is empty) to see how it behaves...
If you’re going “highway speeds” then obviously the rear diff shouldn’t be locked.
But frankly if you’re going “highway speeds” and the conditions are deep snow that warrant a locked diff or deep snow/mud ruts setting (nav) that’s a whole different discussion.
I have a navigator with the hd tow and two speed transfer (H/L). I get ~18mpg mostly around town. Rides smooth on the highway. No complaints.
Never tried the downhill assist.
Nobody is doubting that I don’t think. I’m certainly not.
The question is whether there are tires only used by manufacturers and when you get replacements at the tire shop (same Dot numbers [maybe different plant number etc though]) the tires are a different tread depth and rubber compound...
