    07 Can I drive w/o front driveline

Your vehicular knowledge and reading comprehension are second to none. ;) OP, you're safe to remove the front driveshaft to drag your Expy with a tow truck. I assume the rear will be off the ground, yeah? For navi, the OP's truck is going to be brought back with the tow truck he wishes to...

    5.0 twin turbo coyote??

I'm talking about trans bolt patterns, and possible mount locations. I DO know for sure the 7.3 has the same bell bolt pattern as any other modular engine. ;)

    5.0 twin turbo coyote??

I'd rather have a 7.3 swap with a supercharger and FMIC. Keep the 8 lug stuff, that would get very costly trying to make an 8 lug IRS that would work with the existing ABS/trac control, etc. The 7.3 is easily doable, as it will bolt to the existing trans...not sure about mounts, but given the...

How? How will it "know"? Hold on..I want to see his logic on this.

    Catalytic or cat lock DIY?

Most of it depends on whether that person's state has a castle doctrine law or something to that effect in place. Basically you're right though....shoot till the threat is stopped, whether it's due to the perp running away, giving up, or dying. That's what my CCW trainer told me years ago. He's...

    Catalytic or cat lock DIY?

I just happened to be lucky (and knew) that it was rabbit season, and my farm, so I had a legitimate reason to be carrying a 12ga. None of the thieves business what it was loaded with however. LOL

    Catalytic or cat lock DIY?

A few years ago, had some knobs make an attempt to steal gas and fuel from some ag equipment. Some of it was under wireless camera surveillance, and I got an alert that there was movement. I went over, saw a truck on the road in front of the gate (gate has a large chain and padlock). I parked...

I didn't know about it either till I read it here. ;) This also works on the 4th gen Explorers (and probably the 3rd gen too) and I'd bet new F150s as well.

No, Bilsteins all around. Funnily enough, I notice the rubbing really only when backing up. I might need to have the lady friend drive it in reverse while I watch to see where it is coming from prezactly. I tried to cram as much in there as I could....ahem, tire that is ;) With the wheels...

What is "EL" and how do I know if mine is EL?

For those that don't have access to the VIN or can't see it, it's simple. Look at the back doors. If the door has a cutout for the wheelwell, it's not an EL. If the door is straight on the back side, it's an EL. To me, the easiest way to tell at a glance is the back glass. If it's long, EL...

It's the trac control. When it detects wheel slip, it cuts power, hence you don't go anywhere. Hold the traction button in until it flashes on the cluster. Then, you'll move in the wet white crap. The reason it does this in 4L is because 4L automatically disables trac control. It's in your...

    Catalytic or cat lock DIY?

^The most asinine thing I've read yet today. But I'm sure you'll raise the bar again in a bit. You always do. Just go shoot someone messing with your car. You'll never draw a breath of free air again, especially in CA..lol Missouri here, and about as pro 2A as it gets, and even here you can't...

I'm contemplating some as well, if I find any info I'll let you know. And disregard the post and poster #2, he drives a navigator and doesn't understand those who use their Expeditions for anything other than highway haulers LOL, which it sounds like yours may NOT be. With the lift spacers, and tires, everything on the vehicle raises, relative to vehicle height. As LokiWolf stated above, the spacers or leveling kits, etc (all basically do the same thing..) just raise the height of the vehicle by manipulating the space between the top of the strut/spring and...

    My mechanic told me....

After 2008 or so, Ford did away with the two piece plugs, the ones that gave fits to everyone. You're good to go. Your mechanic needs to be made aware of this. You can do it yourself, all you need is an air hose with a nozzle (to blow the holes out after you remove the coils, but before you...

Can I, should I, clean the engine?

Add me to the lost of "water+coils=problems"...granted, they were aftermarket cheapos and not Motorcraft....waiting on the genius to come along and say that all coils are the same, as are tires and shocks... SMFH.

    2014 Expedition Misfired twice

Yes, the new plugs in mine solved the issue. Never a doubt they wouldn't. The gaps on the old plugs were quite large. Bet the mileage goes up a little, we'll see. Gonna be a nice road trip saturday, weather permitting.
