    Fuel smell outside vehicle

Same thin with my 03 EB. Fuel smell is strongest by the fuel fill cap area. I get a SES light and a P0455 code every 6 months or so. Small evap leak. I just reset the code until next time. Also replaced the gas cap, but the fuel smell is still there after driving.

    Red Light Runner Crash

Estimate what you think it will be, then double it and add 10%. Seems to hold true for mechanical repairs.

2010 Exp cranks but occasionally wont start

Check battery terminals, ground connections, and wiring for any corrosion or loose connections. Poor electrical connections can affect starting reliability.

How to keep my 2015 Expedition going for as long as possible

That sounds like an excellent plan. Depending on how long you go between drives, might consider a battery tender, either plug in or solar powered.

    Phaser Noise after replacement

Noise, especially a rattling type noise, under acceleration could be caused by pre-igition. Try running 91 or higher octane for a tank or so. If it stops, there's the problem. Pre-ignition can be caused by timing issues and or carbon build up.

    2020 AC Not Blowing Cold

Is the AC compressor clicking on and off rapidly every few seconds?

    Noise on cold start

It's not really flooding. If you hold the gas pedal all the way to the floor while cranking the engine, it disables the injectors. This allows you to crank the engine for 3-5 seconds before removing your foot from the gas. That is enough to get a small amount of oil pressure built up and...

    2019 limited A/C not COLD

May be just low on refrigerant. Try adding half a can of R1234 and see if the vent temp improves. It should be blowing 45-50 degrees Fahrenheit. Both, your low and high pressures seem a bit low to me.

Ordered 2024, scratch at delivery. Wait for 2025?

I'd wait until the repair is finished, inspect the repair, and if it's undetectable, accept the vehicle. 6 months or 6 years from now it won't matter anyway.

2011 ex police...all the codes HELP!

I hope you can get it figured out. It will never pass the smog inspection in Texas with the CEL on.

    Vacuum hoses

I have the same vehicle, and would love to help, but I believe some of the vacuum hoses for the AC are near the firewall behind the battery. Can't get a photo without taking out the battery.

Maintenance for 2018 Max Limited at 180,000 miles

I had 3 separate incidents, miles and years apart, where a coil went bad and made the vehicle run poorly. There first two times I replaced the single bad coil, but when the 3rd went bad I had all the coils and plugs changed at around 90k. Yes, it was pricey. 8 coils and plugs for around $600 IIRC.

Maintenance for 2018 Max Limited at 180,000 miles

But the coils go bad without any advance notice at the most inconvenient time. Well, I guess there is no convenient time.

Maintenance for 2018 Max Limited at 180,000 miles

The symptoms were a flashing check engine light, so yes. An OBD II diagnostic scanner will pin point which cylinder(s) is misfiring. You can get a fairly decent OBD II diagnostic tool for around $100. Highly recommended.

Ac not working, door ajar light, TPMI light, airbag light all on

Yeah, what JJ said. Those wires don't look cut, they look abraded.

Maintenance for 2018 Max Limited at 180,000 miles

If you are replacing the plugs, might as well do the coils at the same time. Use OEM coils. I think the coils should be replaced at 100k anyway. Mine started going bad one by one between 80k and 90k, but it is an older vehicle.

    Squealing noise during slow speeds

Check the serpentine belt and all of the idler pulleys. I don't think the belt would squeal unless it's very loose, but the idler pulleys can and do wear out. Also check the belt tensioner.

    Dreaded P219B

Could be a vacuum leak or bad O2 sensor. Code P219b relates to a bank 2 imbalance of the air to fuel ratio.

Do I have an engine timing problem?

Could simply be carbon build up on the valves or cylinders. Try adding some Techron for a couple of tanks and switch to a top tier gasoline.

    2005 Ford Expedition Electric Issues

Sometimes the washer hose to the rear washer comes apart. It will siphon all the washer fluid out of the reservoir. That hose runs right behind the passenger side kick panel where the fuse box is located and that's where it gets disconnected. Check under the passenger door sill where a lot of...
