Install F150 Bilstein 5100 or 6112 products on my 2004 Expedition?

Disclaimer please verify yourself:: I have done quite a bit of research on this my self and it appears the 5100 for the F150 will work on the front (in fact aftermarket A-arms and such will work as well) For the rear Bilstein makes a 5100 for 2018 expedition that may work. ***Again please...

    04 lift

Hi Vincent, I did not notice any performance loss that I can recall MPG wise was slight to the point I almost didn't notice. Keep in mind that I was running stock wheels and the Toyo was A/T so the tread pattern was marginally more aggressive for off-roading. I do not remember the exact width of...

    04 lift

you can put on 33 without a lift (I did stock wheels toyo a/t) With lift 35's with aftermarket wheels will just need a little trim on front valance which is plastic won't even notice it was trimmed

    Cheep struts!!! Motorcraft. Rockauto

I bought those closeout Motorcraft struts as well. I knew with the price something was up but just kinda trusted that rockauto did their due diligence but I knew it was too good to be true. They are cheap knock offs of something (under the hand-printed out label which I took off) they appear to...

    Changing fuel filter

Were you able to clean the injector connection points? looked like from the picture the points were dirty which could also cause a disruption in the signal from, and to the contact points.

    Changing fuel filter

look at the link, when replacing be careful the plastic fitting that connects the heater hose at the firewall can be brittle if crack antifreeze will pool up at #4. Additionally, your coil pack maybe fouled out from the fluid and need to be replaced. You can try to clean and dry the area to see...

    Changing fuel filter

If it's a knock you may want to identify where the knock is coming from. Front, right-left valve cover, etc. Not sure if this is the issue but you make want to look at a few of these videos from fordtechmakeuloco might help identify...

    Ball Joints/Control Arms

As some have stated above if you plan on keeping I would recommend Motorcraft then AC Delco if Moog use their problem solver line, not the "R" line which is cheap. Moog has gone downhill a bit and not the same since they sold some years back.

    Changing fuel filter

Not sure if it will solve the issue but I would highly recommend you change it out recommended to replace the fuel filter at 30k intervals. It is easy to replace (you need the special tool to remove it, cheap and annoying) You state you have a knock at idle, is it a knock or a tick? Tick would...

Map Light/vanity mirror light blowing fuse

Hi, all I have a minor annoyance with blowing the 15 amp fuse that operates the map light and vanity mirror light. All my interior lights function normally it is only the map and vanity lights that do not work. I have replaced the 15 amp fuse about four times. The Map and vanity lights will work...

Its almost time for new tires. Oh no!, a tire thread!

I have had a great experience with Toyo's. I put 70K on the AT's and still had plenty of tread life left and gave to a friend who got another 25ish k out of them. I have the R/T's now with 65k and will be good till 80k. Not sure what the more street orientated versions will do just my opion

    22x10s w/off-road tires?????

Do you plan on going off-road, or just lite trails is the question you may want to ask. I go off-roading so with my lift I have Method Wheels (aluminum with clear coat from Method) Wheels are 17x8.5 wearing Toyo R/T 35x12.5. I went this route to be able to maximize air down when needed...

    2003 Ford Expedition Trans Problem

I had the OD issue around 215k the symptom is different than what you are experiencing from your video. When the snap ring broke I simply had no OD, it would just rev in OD but 1st 2nd & 3rd worked perfectly. With 215k on the trans, I had it rebuilt, and just for reference the clutches had...

    NEED PERFORMANCE UPGRADE ADVICE

Unfortunately, I have to agree with the adding CAI etc the gains are minimal to nonexistent with minor improvements. The manufacturer did set up up to be the most efficient and get whatever stable power they could out of the engine. In fact, some mods can give you a negative effect, though...

    Suspension upgrades?

Hi Trail22 not knowing what type of offroading you will be doing so take as you take. Based on the type of vehicle this is where heavy duty offroading is not this vehicle's intention. I can say from using mine to offroad on trails, fairly deep sand, and climbing I have never had an issue with...

    Transmission or other cooler..

There are two stand alone small coolers/heat exchangers in front of the condenser. You can see them best through the lower grille/opening in the front valance. I believe the factory setup was for the towing package (but I could be wrong)

    4" lift

I just never have had an issue. I go wheeling (trail and climb, dirt, and sand)quite often air down to around 20 and still have not had any rub or scuff issues.

    4" lift

I run 35's did have to trim the edges of the valance (very minimal) but never needed to do any pinch welding. No rub no touch
