Not sure why the differences, I have the dyno sheets...the only other mod the truck has on it and was there for the dyno is a Gibson cat back...if you believe in the 20% drivetrain loss and the 3v's are rated @300 hp then 240 to the wheels stock is right...
Yes, that was with the 5.4 3v, if your sig is correct and you have the 03 all you need is the CAI whihc is under $150 but call Jay@ 757-335-1940 and he can explain it.

Dyno'ed today and it was 240hp/290tq stock, after the CAI and SCT tune it was 270hp and 360tq with a peak tq reading of 390@2100 rpm's. 2nd gear pull and 93 octane. www.jlttruecoldair.com or his shop number is 757-335-1940.
I just dyno'ed my 05 Expy today and it was 240hp/290tq stock and after the JLT CAI and SCT tune it went to 270hp/355 tq with a peak tq reading of 390 tq at 2100 rpm's. This was a 2nd gear dyno run and on 93 octane. His webiste is www.jlttruecoldair.com or call him 757-335-1940.

The TB spacer is a waste of money. CAI's help, check out www.jlttruecoldair.com for intakes. Cat back's will help, but I will guarante that you will not get 100HP for $500.
I hope you have new rotors; to get mine off I had to use a lot of PB blast, WD 40 and a 5lb hammer to beat them off. Pound in a spot and then rotate the rotor to give it an even pounding...
of course this is the end of the rotor...
Sorry about the confusion with the tune; not sure what kind of cars you came from, I have been a mustang guy for 10 years. On the older cars you could have a tune put on a chip but with the newer cars you have the computer "flashed" using a SCT Xcal. This happens by plugging the Xcal into your...
If you have the time check out www.f150online.com, there is a lot of good info on there about exhaust, headers, CAI's and tuners. The XCALII is the one that I recommend, I have used SCT's products in the past and have had success. There is a company on there/man named Mike Troyer who sells...
I am about to have a JLT CAI and a XCAL II installed on my 05 Exp, on the F-150 he got 30 hp/45ft lbs tq. If you are interested in his stuff check out www.jlttruecoldair.com.
I have questions that no one has answered-I need to know what size the stocl tb is and with the 05 there is not a mechanical Tb, it is electronic so not sure if that would make a difference...
I am a believer in synth's, Mobil 1 5W-30 goes in all my vehicles. At one time when syn's first came out there was a discussion that in braned new engines the syn was so slick that the parts never seated/seals leaked. With the mileage on your you will be fine. I recommend Mobil 1 syn and only...
I had the Gibson on my 03 and when I got my 05 I switched it over, it is not an exacr fit even though according to Gibson the same part number applies for the 03-06's. I
