So after going through the owners manual and realizing that there is more than one fuse that controls the radio I was able to locate the problem. 10A fuse that had blown.
So my mother in law borrowed my truck and while she was driving the radio just stopped working. Radio still has power to eject the cd but nothing else. Ive checked the radio fuse and its good. Thought maybe it was the aftermarket radio it self so I hooked the factory one back up and same...
Yeah that guy was from NJ which is only about 3 hours away from me so Im sure mine looks something like that. Yea they mentioned rubber spacer or maybe putting some washers on the mounting studs. My only concern is that when I look for the module I cant find it for an Expedition only F150s and...
Code was P0191,which I researched and from what I found it was refrenced to the module. So as soon as I get a chance Im going to pull the spare and inspect the module.
Well here we are again the truck does not want to start. I was driving it and it started to cut in and out like it was running out of gas. Drove it all the way home and as I pullup to my house just dies and wont start back up. Waited a day and it started right up and acted fine. Today my wife...
Ok so I swapped the relays and the windows are working now. I think when playing with the relays and fuses we accidently put the relay in the wrong spot because I am missing one of the relays. Thanks so much you've been a huge help.
I do have defrost, I forget what my mannual says relay #4 is for and fuse 22 is the one that I checked when I removed the relay and put it back in and it started. I also swapped out breaker 401 I believe it was and still no windows.
I didn't swap it. All I did is remove it and put it back in. I did swap breaker 401 after it started hoping that was the problem with the windows and radio but no luck there. The r02 relay is the one you believe that's the problem for the windows? I have no #4 relay in my truck to swap so I...
Ok so I checked fuse and it was good but I had to remove the relay above it to get fuse out. So I put it back in as well as the relay tried it just for kicks and it started. Unfortunately my windows, stereo and moon roof still dont work. So the non-starting issue is at least out of the way.
I was also wondering if it was two seperate issues. I do hear the injectors priming when I turn the key on(or at least what I believe to be). Yep everything else works on the truck, brake lights, head lights, mirrors, ect. ect. If I put the parking brake on and my foot on the brake it will go...
All fuses are fine, havent tried jumping it. Its a new optima that I just put in earlier this year and it cranks over just fine, just wont start. But I just checked volt gauge and it appears normal until I try to turn it over then it drops way down. I will try jumping it but if this doesnt work...
So I started my truck to go home yesterday it ran long enough for me to roll down windows and open moon roof then died. I tried to restart it and all it did was turn over but didnt fire. So I immediately thought fuel pump went bad. I shut the radio off to see if I could hear the fuel pump kick...
