    Seat covers

I need to replace my front seat covers, i mostly need the part you sit on but ill take a bottom with back if i can find with integrated headrest. I mostly see the separate headrest covers. The OEM replacement ones i found are over $180 each for just the bottom. Any suggestion out there? Or what...

    Expedition vs Tahoe

Used to have the 1st gen Expedition, it was cool but hated having to carry the 3rd seat in & out. The folding rear seat of the 2nd gen Expy is a huge plus to me... and then the Expy interior styling finished off the Subie

Which OBD-II adapter works for 2003 Expedition

Ahh shoot... I never even noticed the "Predefined PIDs" in Torque. Thanks, i found Trans Fluid Temp and i will give this a shot

Which OBD-II adapter works for 2003 Expedition

Yeah i came across custom PIDs for Torque and the formula, but there are so many other fields to be filled in Torque. Anyone have instructions on how to completely fill out the custom PID fields?

Which OBD-II adapter works for 2003 Expedition

OK i bought the ADFX brand bluetooth adapter and it connects now, so im happy about that. I would like to monitor trans temp and it looks like it isnt able to read it. Is it the adapter or should i try the Forscan app? I read that the Forscan app can read things that Torque Pro cant, and im...

Long Term Fuel Trim - Rich

Actually a + value is trying to "add" fuel, meaning it is lean.... probably due to a vacuum leak

Which OBD-II adapter works for 2003 Expedition

Im wondering if its just my settings that wont connect Im using Torque Pro App with J1850-PWM as the protocol. This is the same protocol that works with my old Palm Pilot using OBD Gauge App but is very limited in functions. Ive also tried selecting "Auto" for the protocol but still no connect...

Which OBD-II adapter works for 2003 Expedition

No it does not work. Fuse is good and other code readers are able to connect to my Expedition but not with my adapter. My adapter is able to connect to other cars so I know it's not defective.

Which OBD-II adapter works for 2003 Expedition

What year Expy do you have? Anyone try the BAFX adapter? I contacted the manufacturer and they confirmed that it will connect to 2003 Expedition with MS-Can protocol

    2003-2005 Expedititon or Navigator?

My point was having the flexibility of filling with higher octane while towing. The Navigator already calls for 91 octane, imagine going up inclines with a heavy load on a hot summer day. I like having the extra wiggle room :) If you dont do any heavy towing i guess it wouldnt be a concern for you

    2003-2005 Expedititon or Navigator?

What I don't like about the navigator is that it calls for premium 91 octane fuel. The expedition calls for 87 and I like having the flexibility of filling with higher octane when towing a boat or travel trailer, especially when going through some inclines with a load

Which OBD-II adapter works for 2003 Expedition

Can you show or link the model that you have? This is the one I have, and wont connect to my Expedition.

Ignition Coil and Plg Replacement....What Brand to Get?

Ive replaced 2 different ones on 2 separate occassions, one with an AC Delco and another with the cheaper ebay ones, and both have been fine for couple years now. Like yours, i too was experiencing the problem intermittently, and found that it seemed to happen during the rainy or very humid days.

Which OBD-II adapter works for 2003 Expedition

I have a Mini OBD Bluetooth adapter from ebay that says works with all protocols, it works on my Mitsubishi car so i know its not defective, but does not connect to my Expedition. Ive read that the 2003-2004 have an exclusive Ford protocol called MS-Can and utilize different pins. There is an...

Want to add a transmission cooler

Gauges through the OBD is a cool idea, but i want a dedicated gauge for a permanent install and on all the time. So this weekend i got under the car to see what im up against, and i see that the oil flows through the coolant radiator and then through its own cooler as well... So do I cut the...

Want to add a transmission cooler

Very cool, im going to go for it. While im at it i think i will add an oil temp gauge as well...The maxi cool cooler with fan is a bit of overkill for me

Want to add a transmission cooler

Im wanting to add a transmission oil cooler to my 03 EB 5.4L. Any preferred brands or setups? Is it better to add to the existing cooler? And if so, do you add it inline or T off the existing lines? Or simply replace the existing with a bigger better one?

    Running A/C without Engine

the question is how long do you plan on staying in the car? Ive idled my car for about 20 mins with the AC on many times. Just watch your coolant temp gauges, mine doesnt budge even a little

    A/C stopped working on 05

Inspect the joints, the O-ring at the condenser joint failed on mine, went to Ford and they just gave it to me for free. A dead giveaway would be a green-ish drip mark, if its a pinhole leak somewhere then you will need the UV dye and lighting to locate it. Good luck... i hate AC leaks

    Will this "275/65R18" fit?

No need to pull the speedo. Just compare it against a GPS. I should point out however that every car ive compared to a GPS usually reads 1-2 mph faster than the GPS readings, so id say allow for a little bit of tolerance before assuming its been altered. The F150s had the 255 but they i...

Stereo amp connected to delay relay?

I built a voltage divider circuit using 2 resistors (image attached) Took a reading with my meter and measures 5.2V at the amp now. No more pop noise :)

Stereo amp connected to delay relay?

Ahh i should have read these replies sooner. This past weekend i went as far as reinstalling my OEM Ford radio and found that the "amp enable" lead puts out 7V and the Pioneer puts out 12V. My thought was to put a resistor to dissipate the remaining 5V, but the voltage regulator idea sounds...

Stereo amp connected to delay relay?

Yes only when turning on the head unit. Pioneer head unit with OEM amp and OEM subwoofer

Stereo amp connected to delay relay?

Its a Pioneer FH-X700BT. I have verified with a meter that the amp enable toggles the power properly with the head unit. I guess my battery was just on its way out and not related to the amp.... Now onto the thump sound when power up, i dont know what to think because it sounds fine when...
