Injector Resistance
There is a release valve on the passenger side. Push it down with a pick or something. The valve looks like a tire valve and is on the fuel rail.- Derks88

Odd Loss of Power/Acceleration
I had the same deal happen with my F-150. Ended up with a bad intake valve on cylinder 8. It would only do it intermittently when I hauled a trailer. Then it started without the trailer and all the time. I would get it looked at soon.- Derks88

Installed PCV Oil Separator
I am pulling my 4.6 out of my truck and have the intake off. It is very black and oily in the intake ports on the heads. I'll have to look inside the intake as well.- Derks88

97 engine compared to others?
Took drivers side valve cover off to see if there was anything obvious wrong. The valve cover bolts came all the way out. According to the haynes manual they don't come out on 98 and up engines. leading me to believe it was a 97. So I started checking part numbers and sure enough '97. If I...- Derks88

97 engine compared to others?
I have a 2000 F-150 that might need and engine as I have 0 compression in cylinder 8. What is different on a '97 that makes it a stand alone year from 98-00. W is the 8th digit of the vin if that helps. I have access to a '97 engine, thats why I ask. Thanks, Eric- Derks88
