Anyone else experience looking into the drivers side door mirror at night and watch all the headlights behind you jump all over the place?During the day it vibrates as well but at night you really notice it.
I’ve got 187000 on mine and just did the diffs.Made sure friction modifier was added and most of the hopping and jumping smoothed out.Changed some of the coolant. My manual mentioned looking at the front bearings and repacking and inspecting the 4x4 components. My Expedition was very well...
I was able to get 2.5 gallons out of my coolant system by using the drain on the radiator and cleaning out the surge tank.I know it’s not perfect but I wanted to add new coolant with inhibitors for the protection. I’m happy with it.
Complaining is a natural event for most of us including me.I can’t imagine getting 12 miles to the gallon.I try and keep the tach around 2000 or under if I can.Anything past that and she gets pretty thirsty.
I have a 2016 Roadglide Special.Infotainment center says 51 miles to the gallon.Paper...
I checked my mileage going into Montana this weekend and got 16.5
That’s cruising at 70 and with A/T tires. No snow on the road and two mountain passes.Speed limit is 80 in Montana in this neck of the woods.
It’s very possible.I had Michelin LTX tires at the time and you can really feel the rolling resistance difference now that I have A/T tires on it.Cruise control is very vital.I checked it the old fashion way.Divide the gallons into the miles.I drove from Post Falls Idaho to Seattle on interstate...
I have the same vehicle as you. When I turn the 4x4 knob on the dash in the lower right hand side you should see a awd,4x4 ect. I can’t answer your second question.I do wish our trucks had cruise control indicators on the dash. Its a very bare bones package.
I use the motorcraft blend most of the time and a motorcraft filter.Ive noticed with some full synthetic oils I’m adding oil before I reach my 5000 miles.
I ended up buying a pair of like new stock lenses and it’s better than what I had for sure. Then used a extravision Sylvania bulb and it’s much improved even after I polished the original lenses.
I have a 1998 xlt with no driving lights and was wondering if it’s as easy as adding lights and a different headlight switch and the existing harness will accommodate the new items?
