So on my 2000 Expedition 5.4L 4x4 I just hit 100K miles on it a few weeks ago...it started to make a taping or ticking sound about 2k miles ago Its coming from the engine and I think its the top half....
The noise is louder when the engine is cold and gets quieter when it warms up about 15min...
Ok so this happened twice now and only when its pouring rain. While driving my 2000 Expedition 5.4 I would hear a squealing sound coming from the engine bay and the lights would dim dash lights and every other lights I would have on.
Also it would seem like I would loose engine power...meaning...
OK I really dont listen to AM radio but once in a while I do. So every time the AM radio is on I hear a ticking from the speakers, it happens only when the engine is running and only on AM. This is the weird part I notice that if I have a portable AM radio in the truck I get the same ticking...
Hello Fist I wanted to know if anyone replaces hoses before they break?
Second I wanted to know if theres any that are more likely to break?
I wanted to know if anyone makes a hose set for the 2000 Expy that I can buy instead of buy each one individually?
Also with the rear heat option...
I have see some pictures on here with an oil filter relocation kit added, does this offer some benefit?
Also I would like to install a real oil pressure gauge on my 2000 Expy 5.4.
I added one on my 2005 Super Duty but the Expedition I dont know where to install the sending unit.
Thanks ~Gage~
Wanted to know how to mount 4 KC lights on the roof of your Expedition? Just like "babysilk" has, also how about the 3 he has on his front bumper?
I was going to fab up some steel and mount them on there but is there a better way?
Thanks ~Gage~
