    Don't rely on the plug. I don't have a tow package but I have the 7 pin/4 pin plug. I added it after I purchased it. But if you only have a 4 pin plug I'd say it does not have a HD tow package.

    I had an Excursion that I replaced the liftgate struts with ones from a 4x2 Excursion. The struts used on the 4x2 were longer and resulted in the left gate lifiting higher. Has anyone changed their struts on a 3rd gen 4x4 Expedition? Any Make and model numbers of longer ones?

    I've always used a straight pin or safety pin to probe wires, but sometimes I think I'm doing damage to the wires.. Anyone have a better method?
