Lift gate glass release from dash on 2012 XLT EL

I read somewhere where you can ground a wire in the passenger side sill to release the rear glass. I can't find it now using search. Anyone have any information on that and did anyone actually do it?

Says at the handle switch for the glass but check the gray plug for the 2 wires it shows in pins 7 and 20
