    Just had a local gas station add an E85 pump. My 12 EL runs flex fuel so I have been saving the 70 cents a gallon and running E85. I seen a slight drop in mileage but not much. Does anyone know if the computer "learns" my driving habits and the switch to E85?

    k&n or paper filter?

    I have a 12 EL and tried both the K&N drop in filter and their whole cold air kit. Neither one impressed me much so I did the Gotts mod and run the paper filter. I have certainly not seen my mileage drop with the paper filter.

    The only gains that K&N shows is in the upper RPM range where the Expy rarely goes.

    The Bulldog is basically paint glue. Clean the plastic with hot soapy water and dry. Apply the Bulldog as per instructions and then paint.

    Try using an acid etch primer over the bare aluminium followed by a 2K urethane primer. Then paint.

    Just a follow up. I contacted Satellite Radio Superstore out of Winter Haven Florida and picked up a cable that plugged in to the factory satellite antenna lead and plugged into my Sirus dock. Works great, all for $15.00.

    That's correct. Just pull straight out and they should pop off.

    I've been looking at Gibsons exhaust for mine. Along with Magnaflow there are not many cat back systems available unless just changing the muffler like you did.

    Does anyone know if there is a adaptor that will let me hook up my Sirius Stratus 6 receiver to my Ford installed Sat antenna? I am using the Sirius magnetic antenna now and would prefer to use the factory setup. Thanks, Harry

    Is there really any difference between doing the Gotts mod and K&N drop in filter compared to a K&N CAI? I have a 12 EL and have done both and seen no noticeable difference except for sound. I am not impressed with the fit and finish of the K&N CAI so I am just running the Gotts setup listed...

    Ashley, Since Ford knows there is a issue with the tailgates and hoods, why not fix the issue at the factory before a unit ever reaches the public? I can't see how haveing late model high dollar vehicles driving around with blistering paint can be good for the companies image???????

    Matt, mine is a XLT with Sync, single CD, and Sirus. I do not believe there is a subwoofer.
