im thinking that sct is the way to go its just not looking like the affordable solution almost seems like im spending more on the software then i did on my setup
at this point here in ny i am having no luck finding anyone interested in making money to tune this pig.was going to buy the sct x3 and pro racer software but $760 simolions is a lot of coin with winter knocking on my door.so self tune it may be just determining if going with the moates quater...
my 98 navigator does a similar thing i notice thought it only happens when my heater control is on automatic so i belive that the blend door from hot to cold is the colprate in my case bolth of my front and rear temps are the same also but only get lukle warm on automatic if i leave it on heat...
Go to a junk yard buy a cluster and a computer and the ignition and sensor swap it all from a running truck...i belive the only items in the pats system that are coded together are the ignition key and sensor cluster and pcm i dont belive the gem moduel is coded could be wrong went through this...
Have you checked for a vaccume leak i had a truck recently did a similar thing the bolts backed out of the throttle body and created a leak and it was so intermittent that it did not set the cel
