Thanks Boose. I pulled the fill tube at the tank then was able to siphon almost all of the fuel out.
It was the pump. When I got the old one out and put a meter on it the motor had no continuity. New Motorcraft pump is installed and everything is good in the world.
I have 108,000 on my truck. I plan on getting all 4 corners up on jack stands sometime today then hopefully I can get a better look but the fill hose is a possibility.
My fuel pump has gone out on my 16 (codes P008A, 00C6 and 0627) and I need to drop the fuel tank but it has at least 20 gallons of fuel in it. Is there a way for me to get this out with a failed pump. I have tried to siphon but there is the check valve I have not been able to get around.
My new '16 Expedition has an extremely loud electric fan when it is hot outside (90*+). I talked to a friend who has a '16 Navigator and he has the same complaint. I have never had this on my previous Expeditions ('99, '06, '11). Does anyone know of a fix for this?
