Draining the fuel tank on 16 Expedition

Thanks Boose. I pulled the fill tube at the tank then was able to siphon almost all of the fuel out. It was the pump. When I got the old one out and put a meter on it the motor had no continuity. New Motorcraft pump is installed and everything is good in the world.

Draining the fuel tank on 16 Expedition

I have 108,000 on my truck. I plan on getting all 4 corners up on jack stands sometime today then hopefully I can get a better look but the fill hose is a possibility.

Draining the fuel tank on 16 Expedition

My fuel pump has gone out on my 16 (codes P008A, 00C6 and 0627) and I need to drop the fuel tank but it has at least 20 gallons of fuel in it. Is there a way for me to get this out with a failed pump. I have tried to siphon but there is the check valve I have not been able to get around.

When driving in the daytime with sunglasses on if I want to see any information (mileage, trip OD, etc) I have to take my sunglasses of and put my regular glasses on and then it is still very...

    New rear shocks making noise

I just installed new rear shocks on my 2011 XLT (Monroe 71139). I did not replace the coils. Now when I drive on rough roads or over parking lot speed bumps I get an awful rattle from the rear end. When I get under the truck and bang on the coils with a rubber mallet I can replicate it. I...
