Any danger in forcing downshifts? Or lugging engine?
I have a 2012 with 5.4L. Shocked how well it pulls uphill in Tow Mode (Kawasaki Mule Pro-MX on single axle 14 foot trailer). What did you do to the expy today
Replaced back up and fog lights with LED. Want to make headlights brighter, but the LED retro headlight bulbs I see so far, are too bright according to internet info. I don't appreciate being blinded by other's LED at night, so I will not do the same. Might have to go with Sylvania XtraVision or...- papaweely

Change Coil paks along with Spark plugs ?
My mechanic explained that when plugs get worn, coil packs have to work harder and may fail. He recommended changing plugs a little early. I replaced plugs at 85k.- papaweely

Suspension upgrades - kinda hard to find..
My front and rear stocks were worn out, so I can't give an accurate comparison to 'stock'. The fronts were starting to leak and rear would hobby-horse over humped railroad tracks and looked to be sagging. I bought spacers for towing purposes, but, after installing the KYB's, the rear leveled up...- papaweely

Suspension upgrades - kinda hard to find..
I have KYB Strut-Plus assemblies and Michelin LT Defender tires. I 'feel' the road much more than the mushy stock setup. Probably more like an F-150. I am happy!- papaweely

What did you do to the expy today
Recently replaced all shocks with KYB Strut-Plus assemblies, Michelin Defender LT tires. Feels like it has a stout stance and NO bounce over ****** railroad tracks.- papaweely

Had poor experience getting Bilsteins istalled for the rear of my 2012 XLT 4X4 (as posted on this forum from others). Contacted Joseph Smith at Bilstein; he claimed to have put in a request for Bilstein to make rear loaded assemblies (like 6112). Now is a good time for everyone to contact...- papaweely

2010 Expedition rear window wiper blade replacement
Wake up old thread! I just replaced my 2012 rear wiper blade with an inexpensive Walmart blade; https://www.walmart.com/ip/17-Autodrive-Wiper-Blade/340142188 All I had to do was unsnap and remove the plastic center fitting from the new blade, and snap new wiper center pin onto the original...- papaweely
