P0171 p0174 codes please help
I fought these same codes. Intermittent check engine light. Cleaned and replaced maf. No vacuum leaks. No cracks. In the end, the solution was a 10 dollar fuel filter. Once I pulled it, more black crap came out than fuel. I had over 270,xxx miles as well. Drive like a champ...- GaWag

How much did you pay for your Expedition?
I was wrong. 197xxx miles . Don't get me wrong, I've had to put work into it. The only thing that doesn't work is the ac. Few things need tweaked and rebuilt but I still dd this at 13.5 +/- mpg.- GaWag

2000 Eddie Bauer. 192xxx miles. Sister and her husband bought a new truck. They knew they wouldn't get anything for it. Got it for FREE! They gave it to me. Needed a little work but knew I could do it. 277xxx miles later and still driving it! Can anyone beat that? Lol.- GaWag

I'm running with mine pulled right now because of this similar problem. If the problem goes away then yes it's the transfer case and would need rebuilding or replaced. Pull the fuse for the transfer case. The torque on demand transfer case won't be engage . I think fuse number 104 under the hood. Mine did this. Clutches in the transfer case are wore out is my guess.- GaWag

Who has the most miles on the odometer of their expedition?
275k on my 2000 Eddie Bauer 5.4. Just replaced the fuel filter (was so clogged it the a lean code on both banks) replaced the intake (coolant crossover was cracked) replaced the timing chain, guides and tensioners( guides were broke and chain was slapping) and finally replaced the lifters...- GaWag

Embarrassed to say I figured out my problem. There was an amplifier defeat switch at the back bottom of the console to show the dvd fm transmitter to be received by the head unit.- GaWag

My radio quit working as in not receiving any signal. I have an Eddi Bauer 2000 model. XM was installed by the po. I haven't had much luck researching.
