Hi guys,
For the longest of time my head unit in the front had lost the display, but the rear was still working. Stereo and sync all worked fine, I just couldn't see what was on the display in the front of the car. Now the stereo and sync don't work at all and I have also lost the display in...
Anyone had any luck viewing this software on a smart watch?
Just trying to decide whether to get the BT version or the wifi. If it syncs with my watch then I'll get the BT version.
All the lights were off last night when I left work. Only the pressure sensor came back on at the same point on the journey home. Advancetrac warning still hasn't come back on. I'm thinking now I may have a dodgy connection somewhere.
Nice one. I'll check them out. Same thing happened when I left work tonight. Got to the same point and the alarm went off. Got home with all the advancetrac lights and the TPMS on. Went back out about an hr later and there were no lights on at all. Drove for 3 mins and the advancetrac thing lit...
Now the weather has warmed up the TPMS warning light still triggers. It actually triggers at exactly the same point in my journey home from work every day. I'm hoping to get the summer out of my tires so would replace all four sensors when I get new rubber. Can anyone recommend the best place...
The tire sensor light was off this morning when I left. Stayed off all the way to work and back. Put my OBD scanner on when I got home and the O2 code had disappeared as well.
Going to forget about it for now, although a friend of mine said the tire pressure thing could have been from the...
Hi guys
I was driving home from work earlier and my tire pressure sensor light came on. When I got home I plugged in my OBD reader and it told me I had a P0150 error, which is bank 2, #1 O2 sensor.
Is there any feasible way the two could possibly be related?
The other thing is the car has...
I've searched everywhere and can't find an answer to this one. The bulb needs replacing above my licence plate. I have a black plastic Phillips screw, but when I turn it so I can remove the bulb cover, it spins endlessly. The Haynes manual doesn't seem to have anything covering these bulbs...
Basic question, as I've never had a car with an alarm before, let alone a fancy trip computer etc. Can I just remove the battery like I would on a regular, no frills, car or do I need to do anything beforehand? 2010 XLT 5.4.
Thanks :-)
Thanks mate. Do you know if that fits? That's the one that the company I was talking to said wouldn't fit.
That sounds promising but I was going to buy the tool just in case I did snap leave one in the block.
Hi guys
Please can someone post a link to a removal tool for the 2010 XLT. The ones I've been looking at are made by Lisle, but the company I was asking to send me one said it wouldn't fit my car.
Thanks
I found mine a few weeks ago.
I had to pull off the door to the compartment in the passenger foot well, then remove the weather strip up the inside of the vehicle so I could get in there to see the sticker. I used my phone to take a pic and video of the sticker. Put the code in the door...
It needs more torque. I've done this on rotors with nuts and bolts before. Wind bolts in against the rear and use the puller on the front.
I did this on my old F150 and when the rotor let go it was like a gun shot going off.
Could you use this method with a stuck hub?
I have 3 girls, 27, 13 & 5 and a 24 year old boy. They love my 2010 and think they're royalty when we're out in it. Pro's are space, entertainment and power when I gun it. Con's are getting into the missus 2015 Nissan Micra LMAO!!!!. It's so freakin small.
I've attached a pic of us taken...
I see you live in Florida. Have you been using the AC lately? It could be the AC clutch kicking in and out, sticking, and causing the belt to slip. Take the fuse out for the AC, drive it and see if it stops squealing. If it does you may have it sorted.
Welcome. I too have four kids, 25yrs down to 5yrs. All's not lost  Honest!!!
I'm waiting, patiently, for the weather to warm up so I can clean mine over with a toothbrush.
