Thanks, brand sticker says frontier but I don’t know much other than that, it was on the truck when purchased and the previous owner modified by welding on the brackets for the light bar.
Updated wheels and tires, 20x9 +12 offset, 295/55/20 ridge grapplers, zero rub and no cutting but my sides steps were broken when I bought the truck (one was sheared off and gone) so I removed the other.
Picked up a new to me expedition yesterday, already lifted so I don’t know any of the specifics yet but researching what has been installed. Loving the truck so far!
Duratracs at roughly 20k miles
Slow response here but I mentioned I would grab a picture of these with some miles on them.
Sorry about sideways picture from my phone
I'm with ss pete, I also believe you need a new motor.
I had the same issue in another truck and a new motor solved the problem. Diagnoses for me was that after cleaning the tracks and no improvement on stopping short with the auto down feature the motor was just too tired to complete the...
Thanks - it's for sale if you know anyone looking.
I have 20k on these and they were holding up well, regular rotations. I'm probably going to get another set for the Expedition after the skurg sells and I order my lift. I have the factory 'wine bottle' 20s that will need to find a new home...
Not a great comparison for you, but I ran 20x9 and 275/65/20s (Duratracs) on my old truck. I liked the tire to wheel ratio, did great on and off road for an 8000lb plus truck.
Hoping to get second in line behind drokmofo in case anyone else reads this, I'm also willing to give up my chrome set for a black one if someone wants to trade in the future.
Excellent write up and great rule!
I'm exiting the diesel world to come back to gas engines because I was hitting the 250/8 too often. My guess is it was more my experience level in diesels than anything else. :) Problem I ran into once I was ready to take it somewhere was finding a...
I've been searching for a number of mods for a 'new to me' expedition and this site kept popping up in my searches so I decided to join.
2013 4x4 - will be used as a family hauler, light towing duty and mild off road travels.
