First off, you need to run your brake wire (blue) to your brake controller. That controller decides how much voltage to send to your trailer brakes based on the amount of pressure you apply to the brake pedal. Second, your yellow wire operates your left turn signal. White is your ground, green...
Thank you for responding. However, the connection is notched so there won't be much turning. LOL! I think I have decided this. Since I have purchased a new radiator, I'm just going to use a a 4.5 cutting wheel and cut the dang radiator out, leaving on the connection part of the radiator to...
Frustration beyond belief in getting my 2007 Expy lower radiator hole loose. Yes, wire lock ring removed. Hate to make a mess, but thinking since the radiator is bad, just cut a hole in the dang thing to get to the front of the hose. Any thoughts? Any spray release products. This is crazy! TIA
Still get "UNTRUSTED" warning. Please fixd this! It's scary!

Yah, Loaned my car and he hit Bambi! Wiped out the grill, the part it snaps in to below, and the plastic frame behind it that holds in the Tranny cooler. Does anybody know the Ford part name for the part that holds in the tranny cooler? (Lined in red. Sorry for the mess! LOL! ) And if you...
LOL! While I, too, can cycle through using the button on the dash, I decided to buy the switches so I could do as you want to do. So I bought the 3 switch gizmo and pulled the plate off for the install. AND... :( the plug in the harness was not the same as the receptacle in the switch! So...
Got these from Vevor for $169 a pair! Love 'em! Driver side change out in 20 minutes. You'll need 7mm (door handle plate, driver panel, one on end, two at bottom, plus two in door arm rest,) You'll need a pick tool to open little retangular door in arm rest. You'll need 11mm deep for old...
You could head to the sign shop and have them cut you a 3' or 4" piece of outdoor vinyl to run across the back that has EXPEDITION or similar cut into it. It would make a nice break for your repair so that you don't have to repaint the whole thing. Putting it on is very easy. After cleaning...
Ahhhhh....! Someone else is in my boat! Harbor Freight? I bought the $70 kit that was supposed to have everything. It didn't. You need an adapter. Fords have special threads and most fuel pressure gauges don't cover the size. It's specific. .302 something is the thread size. Someone...
I don't believe I'm getting any codes. Bu8t I don't know for sure. What would that code be? I do have a scanner. I just want my reverse lights to work. :( The wiring looks good. The lamps are good, but no workie! :( And, thank you for your comment!
I have a 2007 SSV Expedition. Like Gold, I have been prospecting for my reverse switch. CoPilot says it's under the hood by the transmission. A post says it's located on the transmission in the doo-hickey which is controlled by the shifter cable. Another says it screws into the transmission...
I'm old! I have a senile mind.... I can't see well, either! LOL! I cannot find the fuse number for my backup lights. HELP PLEASE! I have Stage 4 prostate cancer, too! So help me now, and I will bless you in my afterlife! LOL! TIA
Well... Figured it out with a flashlight, a mirror and an awl! The first picture is what you'll see when you pull the gauge panel. Albeit, the plug-in portion will be down inside the receptacle.
The second picture is of the top of the connector, which you can't really see without a mirror...
It's a weird connector over on the upper right side of the cluster. Can only see the top of it! :O I can't figure out how to release the harness. Sure don't want to break it! So, I'll ask one of you experts! LOL! TIA
LOL! I went nuts going from a 2001 XLT with a 60-40 seat to a 2007 with that huge open spot between the seats. Drove me crazy! I grabbed a matching color F150 console out of the wrecking yard and it fits like a glove. The only real problem I had was mounting, as there are wires down there...
That O2 sensor could be the problem! Fuel filter changed under 10K ago. Installed 4 new O2 sensors to rid myself of continuous trouble light. No change. Turns out my catalytic converters had been punched at some point, so before and after sensors must read the same causing the code. Good...

You should have bought it with the bench seat! Then we could've swapped my buckets, which I hate... for your bench! :) In stone and vinyl and I'd have paid you! :)
LOL! Guess I forgot all about that...
My Exy w/201,000 on it starts up just fine after sitting overnight.. About 15 seconds in it runs rough for another 15 seconds, then runs fine again. Very annoying. Any Clues?
TIA, from a very ol'man! :)
I've changed two on the driver's side over 8 years.... And I'm old and feeble! LOL! It's a piece o'cake! Go for the new regular. Being on a fixed income, I had to go with E-Bay aftermarket. The first one lasted 40,000 miles, and the second, 30,000. :D
Could be an SSV (Special Service Vehicle) instead of an SUV. A little more heavy duty, I believe. Also, look at your speedometer for text that says the speedometer has been verified.
A fine starting point, Jim! Thank you! And I just happen to have a trusty O2 socket! IF, I can find it! LOL! Is there a way to read the O2 sensor with a meter? :)
