the few aftermarket mirrors I tried were crap, very flimsy and poorly assembled, I have always ended up going back to genuine ford parts (either new or used). I would look for used genuine ford mirrors on eBay.

I second these mirrors. They made the truck infinitely easier to drive as I could see everything I needed to.

Got these from Vevor for $169 a pair! Love 'em! Driver side change out in 20 minutes. You'll need 7mm (door handle plate, driver panel, one on end, two at bottom, plus two in door arm rest,) You'll need a pick tool to open little retangular door in arm rest. You'll need 11mm deep for old mirror. NOTE: New mirrors came with only one 10mm nut on one post; but old and new threads the same so reuse old nuts. Also, both old and new mirrors have a notched fit on top which makes changing the mirrors a breeze. New mirror will lock into slot without needing two people to hold the mirror. A breeze. Also, you really don't need to unhook your panel wiring. Just let it hang. Remove vapor barrier and boom! You're there. Took a picture after replacing only driver's side mirror! Look at the difference! :O
AND! I finally get to post something "FOR" you guys instead of t'other way around! Feels good! LOL!

EDITED: Forgot to tell you! Mirrors are powered and heat.... providing you have the wiring for heat. :O

EDITED AGAIN: My mistake. The other mirror has all 3 "10mm" nuts. LOL!
