Replacing Rear Bumper Cover on 2017 EL Limited
I dinged the rear bumper cover and ordered a new one from carparts.com. Price and shipping were quite good so I hope it is good quality and fits like it should. It looks like it should be a simple unbolt and install job but I am wondering if there are any hidden gotchas I should be aware of. -

Annoying Message
Why am I constantly getting the message shown in the attached photo? It doesn't seem to be helpful at all and it occurs mostly when I am out of range of my home wifi and can't do an update. Even when I am within range and connected to my wifi it doesn't do anything.- Thor

Surging in Manual Gears
When I do a descent on a steep mountain road my 2017 Expedition surges at about a 1 sec rate for most of the descent. This is a run from Alta Ski Resort to the Salt Lake Valley floor. I use third and second gear for most of the 7 mile descent and there is a distinct surging from the engine...- Thor
