    Gotta use CarPlay, Bluetooth is crap for audio. Either one is pretty buggy. I’d say once a week I can’t get CarPlay to work on plugging it in the first few times.

    You can’t change to the led oem headlights easily. Lots of changes and expensive parts. I can’t wait to Just sell this thing and buy the navigator. Much better lighting. Oem halogen headlights in the expedition are dangerous.

    Finally brought mine into the dealer to complain about the totally useless factory halogen lights. They "adjusted" them as high as possible. Made no significant difference in night driving. Even with the LED bulb replacements, the projector design is poor and the cutoff is too low on dark roads...

    No. Terrible idea. You don’t get the correct housings for the bulbs, you don’t get the DRLs. I wish I’d waited for a truck with the led headlights but they were nowhere when I bought mine.

    Yeah. You can buy led bulbs, just not the factory ones. Look at the other led headlight threads, I posted bulb numbers somewhere. Also, complain hard to ford that the factory halogens suck and make sure they note it. Also consider filing a complaint to nhtsa about unsafe headlights.

    My Denali would buzz in the seat, left cheek for left lane, right cheek for right lane. I like the little bump the steering does on the expy. Every once in a while it does it a little too hard in a turn which can get iffy.

    Lol. I live in southern Utah. I don’t even get a second look at 83 in any 75 or 87 in an 80. Mpg isn’t great but it’s a little better than my 16 Yukon Denali. I usually get 20 on cruise control driving to Vegas. I didn’t get this for mpg, but the sticker estimates are a blatant lie.

    I might join in starting the complaints with my dealer. I’d have to take out my led bulbs when I bring it in but that’s no problem. Even with the leds it’s terrible on dark roads.

    No matter what I do, it’s getting much worse mpg than advertised. Removing an air dam isn’t going to make much difference there, but sure does look better and you won’t have to worry about ruining it on every standard curb. I think mine will come off today !

    Maybe we can turn this into a class action and get ford to stop putting the crappy halogen headlights in these and replace all the ones out there. The cutoff is sharp on these, I agree. I assume they are within guidelines of nhtsa, but if you want to file a complaint, that’s where you start.

    They aren’t plug and play, 100%. The wiring harness is different. I stopped looking at that point, seems to be part of a main engine bay harness and it would be difficult to replace. I may end up getting a pair of them when the price comes down and doing a custom driver board for them, but...
