Ok, so I actually tested it with my truck and ran it for about 30mins during the test. Seemed to work just fine with a 49" TCL 4k Roku TV during that test. A little research showed me that the outlet in the Expedition allows up to 150W max output, my TV averages a required 100W consistently...
I figured I'd keep it running so as not to drain the battery as quickly, and it will keep the unit warm enough for operation (gonna be a cold one here in Chicago!). Wasting gas aside...should be fine for 2-3 hours hopefully.
