The rotary shifter took me a while to adapt to, but the piano keys in the wife's Lincoln are a whole other level of confusion if, like me, you don't drive it regularly.
Are you in a big hurry? If not, then you might wait until the 2025s start hitting the dealer's lots. If you like them better, then you can order exactly what you want...if not, then the 2024s might be easier to deal on just to clear them off the lots; and you might find one exactly to your...
I know it's not the same, but my son and I replaced the front camera on his sister's Explorer--same problem, stone damage. All told, it took around an hour to complete. I would bet they both use the same camera which he bought at Ford for around $80 through his business. He found a YouTube...
The jpg is the actual horn we took out. The replacement had a second horn on the empty wing and no secondary wires to a low-tone horn as shown above
YouTube video. Warning, scads of advertising to watch in order to see the actual video.

I just got around to fixing the horn(s) on my 2019. Only recently paid attention to the tinny sound so I bought a replacement
FL3Z-13832-B...Following a YouTube tutorial to replace horn w/o removing bumper cover or grill, we (blindly) maneuvered the old horn out and found that it was never a...
I disagree with that dealer's opinion. We ordered a max because we routinely transport young grandchildren. We knew we'd need to use a child seat in the third row and needed the extra room behind the third row that the standard Expedition lacked. There are lots of families that need the...

VHT High Temperature Wheel Paint is a perfect match for our Lincoln's black painted wheels. I would guess that the Fords use a similar color of paint. They also make a high temperature clear.
Even though it was noticeable, I didn't take any "before" pictures of the screen. The LED bulbs are brighter and light up a wider and deeper pattern. Taking an "after" picture of the screen would have been meaningless with nothing to compare it to.
I replaced mine with these...https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01H566VKY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1
Not sure if they fit the newer models, and didn't research it either
Our Aviator was ordered by a Phoenix AZ area dealer. I suspect that it was part of some marketing package geared towards the northern states as it also came with all-weather front and rear floor liners.
Basically my opinion of a Carfax report is that it often unfairly generates negative value to a recorded vehicle, and gives dealers (especially) a justification to low-ball their trade offer. it wouldn't surprise me to hear that Carfax was the brainchild of car dealers. The only counter to a...
Sometimes even installing a new battery requires "topping off" the charge with a trickle charger. When I replaced my battery with an OEM from a dealership (son's business account) I hooked it up to the tender overnight before everything worked as intended. Now I have to turn off the auto...
If you could obtain a wiring schematic, there may be some multi-connector with commonality to all circuits. If so, and you could locate that connecter; you could then separate and clean with contact cleaner, reassemble and check. I would suspect corrosion before a short, but anything is...
I have it, but I have been reluctant to try it out figuring it would be just my luck to damage another vehicle. If I doesn't work, the initial warranty is over with
I just routinely would turn off the switch when I start up my vehicle; then my battery started slowly dying and it self-cancelled the A.S.S. I have a new battery now and have to remember to manually turn it off each time I drive it...which isn't all that much (2-3X/wk). I agree with those who...
The worst I've noticed was a couple (fewer than five) times when I started it up, shifted into R, and experienced a "harsh shift." In forward gears, never.
One other thing, when the battery begins to fail, this will be among the first "features" to stop working in order to save battery charge...at least that was how it worked on my wife's Aviator. But then again, that is just another extravagant bell (or whistle) Lincoln incorporates to justify...
I used a trickle charger to prolong the life of my battery through three years of light use. Whenever the A.S.S. or the intelligent access feature on any doors but the driver's door would quit, I'd hook it up for a day or two. Finally broke down and bought a new one. Even brand new, it...
There are 22" tires in XL rating. I just put a set of Continentals on our Expedition...not that I do a lot of towing, but they came with that load rating.
There seems to be a wide array of things that seem to go hand-in-hand with a battery on its way out, and not all vehicles behave the same. Maybe it may be the cause of your conditions.. Have you replaced your battery yet? I just replaced mine and, in addition to the radio playing for the full...
I've used 87 octane all but a couple times when gas was very cheap, I had $1.00 off in grocery store fuel rewards, and I wanted to try it out. I did not notice any remarkable change in performance. But then again, driving in traffic doesn't allow much opportunity to really get on it. My only...
I don't have a breakdown for hours, but my total cost for a new thermostat, seal, coolant flush, new coolant, distilled water, taxes, labor and disposal fees was $499.23. Other than regular oil and filter changes, this is the first (maintenance) money I've spent on the Expedition. I also...
