I second the idea of a battery terminal puller. I have one and they're great at removing wiper blade arms. Why are you replacing the whole arm and not just the blade?
Get the trail ridge mirrors. They stop listing compatibility at 2015 but they're good for all the 3rd gens even after the refresh. I have them on my 16. Torque them down, drive then torque em again. One downside is that the passenger mirror is flat & does not have a slight convex curve as usual...
My brake pedal was going stiff after a few hours. I bring it in under extended warranty. 3 weeks later & they want me to pay for additional diagnostic time because they did the full gamut including testing calipers for leaks..... What idiots. They refused to do further testing. I paid for a $20...
So, it's been some time and I've still been having issues with finding a roof rack system that's "compatible" for our 3rd gens if we want to eliminate the factory raised rails. I've looked at the k9 system but am unsure where I would drill holes for nut-sert installation. Rhino rack is "not...
Same. The 3" readylift leveling kit makes it real tight in the rear at full extension. I've tried to contact a few custom makers and those fell through the hole.
I have this same issue but when I goose it, 3rd kinda acts like a cvt transmission and just keeps a high rpm until 4th then acts like a regular gear style transmission. Dealer saying "no codes, no problem" & I said "how did you fix anything before computers?"
I'm about fed up with it and will be...
I second the trail ridge. Both of those linked do not have the passenger side convex mirror. Flat as a door so it kills viewing area. They work for 2016 & 2017.
I concur with the 18s. Just make sure that you don't get too much offset. You want your tires to still fit inside the wheel wells for the flex. My 35x12.5x18 0 offset contact fenders so I need to find a solution like flaring or something.
Don't do it. With larger vs stock you get free miles (more distance coverage vs what the odo actually says). Just learn the mph table for the new tire sizes.
Yes, the thickness of the mirrors are very similar so the overall width of the vehicle is the same when the mirrors are folded in. Just remember that they aren't power fold. My wife can't reach out the window to fold them in.
