Mine came from a EL platinum the only nice thing about that is they come with the map system built in but if you find one from a limited with a sunroof you're all set too!
Otherwise it's the same but just no map
Just an FYI Blistein now has 5100 for the front and rear.
Personally I upgraded with KYB shocks front and rear and it's solid, barely dips at a stoplight even!
Side note from an HVAC Engineer, do not use sealer... Yea it may work for awhile but it's better to find and fix the least or put a few squirts in when it's "feeling warm" if you opt for sealer expect to have to fix much more than a leak when the time comes
Did mine at home for under $300. Found a crunched 2017 on LKQ GL1T-18B955-SB was the part number.
Ordered a GPS antenna from Amazon and the USB hub on Amazon. You can buy the power adapters for $40 bucks but I just soldered it in on my own to save some $$$
Nice thing about coming from another...
I ordered some off Ebay for $40 and installed them today all went smoothly! Just make note for 2015 models and newer you need M14X1.5 60* cone.
The single piece steel construction is sooo much better then the crappy Ford ones had 5 of them I literally had to hammer a socket on to get off!
They...
Literally just ordered lugnuts off Amazon for the 2015 $60 for 24 and hopefully be done with swollen nuts (well on the car atleast) hahaha trying to remove to nuts to install the hub extenders was a no go until I could replace them
I know I know this is an old thread...
I heard rumors that the 2004 F-250 mirrors will fit our 07-17 trucks...
Anyone around that can maybe confirm or deny that??
Just an update on this... Installed the 1.25" wheel spacers and had to do some heavy trimming for the existing 35" tires to fit. Can anyone show how they trimmed theirs to look good??
Specifically the step bar and wheel well
Well, I got the truck back today.... They said the water pump was bad and causing the driveway leaks and it was replaced with warranty and what was causing the unusual whirring... I guess it's good being at 90k miles now to have it changed out. They also wanted $350 to change out the lower...
Literally just dropped my truck off today for this... I performed an at home exhaust leak test and found both turbo flanges leaking so having the dealer look at repairing them under warranty
30ft tows nicely behind this using a Hensley Arrow hitch with no sway problems. Had to pull it out for some cleaning today so it's not fully booked hooked up I'll get more when it's taken camping in a few months!
Slowly starting to lean towards replacing my Boostmax with a full tune. Thinking of starting with just 87... There's so much carbon build up in the exhaust right now it ain't even funny
