Yes, I live in a state where we don’t have inspections. I liked to find the leak.. after replacing all that I did I’m a bit tired messing with it. And this Is an easy work around.. just turn the truck off and back on in the morning. I have no other issues with it. After replacing all that I did...
I drive with with one of those scanners in my truck. I turn the evap light off if I forget to do a second crank in the morning to re-pressure the fuel system.
Done all four on my 2004 as well.. I even converted the front 4 wheel to drive to 2 wheel by getting a 2 wheel drive hub bearing.. fits perfectly. Since than one on the front fail so I went with a different brand and made sure the bearings were Tapered roller bearings. Heads up those back hub...
I wonder if a 2005 will fit in mine.. anyways I have a complete 2006 fuse box if anyone wants it http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?icep_ff3=2&pub=5575378759&campid=5338273189&customid=&icep_item=133409187624&ipn=psmain&icep_vectorid=229466&kwid=902099&mtid=824&kw=lg&toolid=11111
Most of these are pretty easy to replace and can find on YouTube videos. The fuel tank(pump) isn’t as simple but can be done with a set of extra hands. there is a few videos on this as well on YouTube. Done mine with those videos. Saved thousands of dollars
I bought all these.. new cap, purge value, new vacuum lines, fuel pump etc and I still get small evap leak. This what happens to me.. In the mornings if I drive for around 15 miles the evap light will come on but if I turn off the truck before than the light want get triggered. So I just turn...
I have a 2004 expedition with a bad fuel relay. I bought a used 2006 fuse box off Ebay and was about to swap it out when I came across this post https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/Discussion-t11857_ds918401
I don't know if he did something wrong or it wont work...
yep, it worked. I removed the 4x4 wheel hub bearings/CV axle and replaced it with a 2wd hub. The 2wd hub fit right into the 4x4 slot. No more dragging CV axle weight and noise! Hopefully my mileage will increase a bit..
Bearings are not worn. The vacuum lock has the axle engaged which has my CV turning with the tire. When I make turns I hear the CV axle clacking like a duck lol. I don't have 4x4 the front trans shaft was removed before I bought it. So I assume it's toast.
I read that the wheel bearings need the support of the CV shaft in the center or they will go bad. The 2wd spindles has no hole in the center. If the 2wd spindles are the same size with the same lug nut pattern it would be perfect.. I would just need to remove the CV axle.
I would like to remove the CV axles off my 4x4 truck. The front trans drive shaft was removed before I bought it and now the CV axles are clicking. Can I put these 2wd spindles like these >...
