    Possibly your IWE. Look up "Ford IWE noise" with AI. There is a TSB on it and I had mine done at 100k miles. To test, when it's making the noise switch to 4WD. If it goes away that's the issue.

    They won't do the turbo wastegate rattle under warranty right now. I've had it in twice. They did do the phasers under warranty, with the new parts, as a courtesy.

    I've already used half of the cost of my extended warranty in the rental vehicle alone. I say get it and take the worry out of ownership. These things have so many bells and whistles (especially the platinum) that something is eventually going to break and it will be expensive to fix.
