It may not mean that there is an AUX input, but the CDs can be read in MP3 format. That's probably the case. If you are trying to add a iPod or other MP3 external player, you are SOL.
What year is your vehicle? On the pre 2003, you have to disconnect the connections to the rear controls at the rear control panel.
Also, it may be your factory amplifier. That is a common problem with FORD SUV's. It is located in the rear passenger 1/4 panel.
My suggestions:
-Power wire must be run on opposite side of the RCA's.
-Make sure ground is good, not to a seatbelt or seat bolt, but drilled in.
-Try grounding all your amps and deck at the same location.
-Try buying a Ground Loop Isolator.
Go to Circuit City and they will get you the correct one. The 2003 had two harness models so they will need to ask you a series of questions to make sure that you get the right one.
Two possible issues that I can think of:
-First the fuse. If they cut wires, one of them probably grounded out causing the fuse to blow. Check both locations if you have them.
-If the radio was replaced, a common error that novice installers make is connecting the ground of the radio to...
Okay, glad to hear this is a common problem. Mine is coming on as well with the heater, and it spits out cold air anyhow. I searched the TSB's and couldn't find anything, but it is happening in with many owners. It's like a cosistent BPM, and I end up just using the front heaters.

I noticed your PUMA's first, those are dope. The lights are okay, but I'm guessing that the LED's look better in person. Nice DIY to put together cabrone.
My wife really liked that grille as well, looks like we will be getting it. $400 isn't that bad if you consider what child support will be when I don't comply and make her happy. :(
5x7 in the front and back, there is a tutorial somewhere on here how to take off the doors. A perfect 12 will not fit back there. The largest I've seen is a 10 with some modification.
On a sidenote....most of your mids and highs should come from the front so I would spend the extra cash on...
I got a ticket for my tint being too dark so be careful. He measured the front and it was 11% and just for grins the back window was 16%. I actually got the ticket for not complying with the "reflective" requirements not the darkness.
It doesn't matter as far as frying your radio. If the polarity is backwards, the radio will see less load (8ohms) then if it were wired correctly.
As for the sound, you may be lacking bass if the wires are backwards.
I'm searching for diagram now.
Next time just get the adapters...
I asked my wife to look at it since girls like pretty colors and she said it cheapened the vehicle and maybe it was originally purchased for the bug next to it.
She also noticed something else, the 22" badge on the side of the EXPY. I've never seen that, and busted out laughing. I guess it...
I think it may be difficult because rather than a speaker level imput or RCA's, it has seperate signal wires. I'll post to my civic forum where some of the guys have access to factory diagrams of almost any make.
2 seconds after I start I get a sharp click, click, click, gone. It's been doing that since I got the car and all seems to be well. The rear AC is a mystery, take it back to the dealer and keep all your paperwork. Colorado is very consumer protectant and I believe does have a lemon law.
