No dash Lights

HELP!!! I installed my alipne deck in a 06 expedition and the dash lights are out...

I have tried everything I even installed the factory stereo back and still no power


Can anyone HELP?

I can't figure it out it sucks at night....

did you turn off the dimmer??

of course not, the dimmer does not work at all, but if you switch it all the way up the interior lights pop on - you slide it down they shut completely off, there's just no in between dimming on the gauge cluster or climate controls.

it sounds like you shorted out the dimmer switch
i realy don't know where the dimmer modual is
mabey in the lighting modual that is very expensive

Ok Ok Ok....I just wasnt looking hard enough I checked all of the fuses "I" thought it could be but it ended up being the trailor fuse

Did you use a harness? If not, people often end up using the dimmer as a ground, and blow the fuse.
