Agreed. But there is a concept known as preventive maintenance and mean time between failure. At 150,000 miles I need to consider components nearing the end of its service life who's replacement would be aided with the manifold removed.- Kafer79

2014 EL 5.4 3v Mileage: 150,000 Coolant weeping into #5 plug cavity from crossover pipe causing engine miss. Went to a Ford parts dept. The 2007-2014 Expeditions do NOT have a GEM (Generic Electronic Module). Instead they have a Smart Junction Box (SJB), also known as a Door Lock And Alarm Module (Part BL1Z-15604-B). Parts guy said this unit must be "flashed" if installing a new one. Our F150...- Kafer79

NO IDEAS? (2014 Expedition EL) Update to my Post. The electrical issue persists and increasing in frequency.
