Transmission Grumbling & Misfire
Sorry to hear of your troubles. I owned 2007 Navigator for many years and can give you a few suspects. Had you not mentioned the transmission contamination, I'd almost give you 100% chance of success if you start with a set of new coils on ALL the cylinders. This will likely be my last ford
So sad to read that they continue to take their customers for granted. Owned 3 Expeditions and currently getting ready to sell my Gen 3 Navigator. Will not be replacing it with a Ford product. They wash their hands of issues (like bubbling paint and rust on the tailgate of a then 5 year old...- Robert Herrera

And something just let go in my engine.
Sounds like a plug, but I am curious, how is it truck is running and not showing any RPM? Throttle is blipped 3-4 times but only registers once..- Robert Herrera
