Hi forum.
Anyone have any recommendations for wheel arch flares for Gen 3. I'm running method rims from a F150 Raptor and they stick out a bit!
Your thoughts please.
Also as an aside, is this illegal in USA. I live in Dubai and it's no issue, but we don't get any rain to speak of!.
Thought I'd share, just had the rear shock replaced, very difficult to find any to fit and Blistien seems. To be the way to go...... Until I came accross these which are a huge beefy upgrade
Amada Xtreme brand? Straight swap but a much heavier build quality
Finding shocks to fit is a challenge...
Rear end is a little bouncy in comparison to the front, would like to beef up the springs in the rear, possible find F150 front spring and cut them down to size to length of standard rear, not sure what shock upgrades could also help?
What's the forums thoughts?
Anyone else installed F150 front shocks and springs on a Gen 3 Expedition. My car is a 2012 and it was a straight replacement.
Rear suspension is lifted with a 2 inch Rough Country spacer.
New wheels and tyres 33's.
4to 5 inch lift front and 3 to 4 inch rear with trues.
Not seen anyone else...
Very happy so thought I would share.
Owned my 2012 from New but decided recently that I wanted to take it more off road as opposed to the grocery store.
First phase complete, finished the following
New Method Rims 17 inch zero offset
285.70.17 BF Goodrich tyres
F150 skid plate
K&N cold air...
Hi Forum
Other than 2 inch spacer to the stock shocks does anyone run, on a Gen 3, uprated shocks and springs which would give a 2 inch lift.
Thanks for any advise, other that the spacers I'm finding info on this hard to come by.
Regards
