Anyone else installed F150 front shocks and springs on a Gen 3 Expedition. My car is a 2012 and it was a straight replacement.
Rear suspension is lifted with a 2 inch Rough Country spacer.
New wheels and tyres 33's.
4to 5 inch lift front and 3 to 4 inch rear with trues.
Not seen anyone else post about this. IMG-20220313-WA0017.jpg

Rear end is a little bouncy in comparison to the front, would like to beef up the springs in the rear, possible find F150 front spring and cut them down to size to length of standard rear, not sure what shock upgrades could also help?
What's the forums thoughts?

Bilstein 5100s will smooth out that rear. Coils are completely different front to rear so that's likely no good, but you can get custom coils made for not much more than off-the-shelf replacements. I went with http://coilsprings.com/ and had a great experience.

Thanks very useful. Did you install F150 front??
I have a Rancho setup on the front but will replace that with F150 Bilstein parts when time/money/motivation allows. Everything bolts right up, though I've read that the lift listed for the f150 amounts to far more on an Expedition. There's a thread in this section of the forum with details on that.

My UCAs are relatively new stock replacement parts and are still in good shape so they'll hang around until the ball joints show some wear.

Thought I'd share, just had the rear shock replaced, very difficult to find any to fit and Blistien seems. To be the way to go...... Until I came accross these which are a huge beefy upgrade
Amada Xtreme brand? Straight swap but a much heavier build quality
Finding shocks to fit is a challenge, anyone else come. Across this brand. From Thailand? http://amadaxtreme.com/

Never heard of them but they look nice. How's the ride quality so far?

Definitely give a report on them after 6-12 months of use. Having options is a good thing :)
