Yes the dreaded Aluminum rain drop drone. Get caught in one of the Rocky Mountain rains storms, with the big honkin rain drops, at elevation; and it sounds completely different from a normal rain condition we get in Texas, albeit not enough of them this time of year. Cant wait to hear it in...
No doubt the load capacity of the vehicle determines the max limit. What some E range tires offer, is the ability to safely run higher PSI when towing. Some of the Michelin E range tires, LTX, have 3 steel belts instead of the standard 2. This may offer additional flat resistance.

Gentlemen, happy to report, I had my exhaust guy cut in this Borla muffler, from their Touring (quietest) series. It is 2.75" center...
Since 5280 Tunage did all of the testing of different systems & mufflers, I am happy with just the Borla muffler mod. It's been over a year now, no issues.
Do you have any e85 fuel in your area? 50/50 e85 + 91 = an octane rating of 95.5.
And regardless of what you hear about the Gen.2 3.5 EB in a Gen.4 Expedition, you do need the JLT catch can. You will be surprised how quickly it will accumulate oil when in the boost.
Nothing in the world is wrong...
Hey BobWard
What I have learned from my Expy over the last year of Interstate travel - cruise at 77 or 80 depending, Eco mode, 93 Perf Tune, running E50 = manually downshift to 9th or 8th gear, trading RPM's for Boost. Boost = more fuel. Downshifting = less boost, but more RPM's. Avg. 20 - 22...
Frist weekend after purchase, installed PowerStop Z23 Sport Pads all around + drilled & slotted rotors in front. Rear PowerStop pads were considerably larger than the Ford pads.
Factory Ford pads, as installed on my new Expy, were very thin, straight from the dealership, FYI.
Yes, it moves around a lot at speed, more so with heave winds. Which is why I am considering adding a heat extractor. Stiffen up the hood, reduce the movement, and get the hot air out - https://c2aero.com/heat-extractor-hood-vent/
A Little info, I look at my SCT Tuner every morning at startup, and am thoroughly impressed with how fast this V6 heats up. This AM Outside Air + Engine Coolant = 61 deg. Before I can get out of the driveway, engine temp is already 140 deg+. Get to the end of the block, and the engine is 150 deg+.
PS, I used to worry about mine, what with all of the Flexing I put it through everyday.
But after looking at yours, and seeing how it held up = no more worry.

Perfectly happy with all of my 5 Star tunes.
The E30 tune is very peppy, bit no where near the E50 Tune = 565 Rear Wheel HP & 621 .lbs/ft torque.
I mostly run the E93 Performance Tune = 464 RW HP + 551 ,lbs/ft torque.
I usually run a blend of approx. a 40% E85 + 60% 93 octane gasoline (is...
