Best oil type for 5.4 2 valve with high 200,000 mileage
I have been using 5-20 fully synthetic. Any name brand, bit I do a 3-3.5k oil and filter change ( even though I use synthetic) 245k miles so far- Mr_Kostas

Humming/roaring noise from the front end
Is the noise happening during low or high speed, or both? Did you check the transfer case if it has enough fluid? You can check the actuators right at the solenoid on the passenger firewall (engine) The actuator is a common issue with the expeditions due to the way was designed and not protected...- Mr_Kostas

2006 Expedition- Need help shops can't figure out the issue
Suggest to try going after the P0303 first. Stick with the Motorcraft SP-479 Spark Plug and cant go wrong. Make sure the are gapped at .34 or so. Swap #3 coil and plug with #1 coil and plug. Feels like the truck is power braking while driving.
Hello. I have a 03 . Issue on mine ended up being a bad flex brake hose. Did not look bad at all, but inside it developed an issue and was restricting fluid back to the reservoir, and not to the calipers. It acted almost like a one way valve and forced the caliper to be stuck intermittently...- Mr_Kostas
