    The wife is having an issue with the drivers door not unlocking with the fob. After checking a little bit, it does work with the door fully open. I’m thinking a broken wire in the door/boot to the cab. Has anyone had this happen? Just curious what color wires I’m looking for or anything to look...

    Coil and plug recommendations

    2016, I’ve got a misfire on cylinder 2. I replaced the coil with one from the local parts store and the problem is still there. Going to move coils around to see if I can move the problem. I’m probably going to order a motorcraft coil but was curious if anyone recommends any other brands...

    I had that underboost code too that only showed its face when I was towing, replacing the electronic boost control solenoid fixed it.

    Driver door lock and key fob issues

    We are having this same problem. 2016 XLT. At first I thought the actuator was bad but realized if the door is fully open, the drivers door lock will function with the fob or lock button. It has to be a broken wire in that boot somewhere, I just haven’t had the chance to look at it. Good luck.

    Correct viscosity, yes. motorcraft filter I highly doubt. Oil changes are usually done at a shop. No mods at all.

    Tuner and towing

    Recently purchased our first travel trailer and am considering getting a tuner. It’s my wife’s vehicle, a 2016 XLT, so I’m not looking for a tuner to make it faster but will make a difference when towing. Anyone using one just for the towing benefits? Is it even worth it? Thanks

    2016 with 84k. Last summer we got this code while pulling a cargo trailer through the mountains. The truck never felt down on power or had any hiccups. Check engine light went away on its own. Caught the code again over the summer. Same deal, no issues with the way it ran. Checked some hoses...
