There is no difference in powertrain options in the TimberLine between one with HD towing and one w/out. I went to a dealer I use to work at and looked at both build sheets, one with and one w/out “mine”. So, I got the Trailer Pro Steering components today. As I suspected, the second plug on the factory trailer break pig tail does in fact plug into the Pro Steering. I’m waiting on a part at the moment. The computer sees the TBC but it’s not working. Soon as I get the pro steering controller in and see if that where the second plug goes I’ll up date y’all.- DougBriley

I would agree, however, there is a second plug I believe it plugs into the pro backing. It might need it to complete the circuit.- DougBriley

I’m going to install the pro backing parts “dash”, and look under the dash to make sure the TBC brain is in fact installed. We might be at the mercy of ford at the moment but I going to press my dealership to lean on ford to figure it out- DougBriley

I am at the dealership now, the tech is having issues activating the factory “TBC” Trailer Brake Controller parts. They are updating their software to see if that will correct the issue they are having- DougBriley

So, I got the TBC pigtail, was not easy to install, but I got it plugged in. There was a seconded wire/plug coming off the main plug. I think it goes to the pro trailer backing controller. I will figure it out. I’m going to my dealership to see if they can run forscan to turn the TBC on. I will...- DougBriley
