Amen. It is not just Ford taking government money sadly. It was decided that GM was too big to fail. Others are on the dole as well.
Several makers have put in parts that they knew were bad or wouldn't hold up in real world conditions and have done it for years after they knew. I personally...
Parts store or Harbor Freight carry a big syringe for this purpose.

as far as how to do it there are several you tube videos that can show you how.
good luck
Have you ever considered using something like a Mityvac to suck the oil out through the dip stick? Very easy to use and no crawling underneath. First time I used it I pulled the drain plug to see what was left and it was just drips. Flip a valve lever and pump the fluid into another...
Neither. Not really a college football fan just someone who goes against the flow. It all started around 1982 with all the rabid fans at that time. If I lived in Fla, Tenn or Al I would probably be a UGA fan once or twice a year.
I loved the ceramic tint on all the windows in my van. I took the Expedition to the same place, but they no longer do windshields. They say because ceramic interferes with sensors like lane assist and automatic wiper sensors. I found a mobile shop that would do it, but he only had a darker...
I have run into the same problem as the OP but with a Ford Focus. I called 4 of the closest dealerships and talked to 3 service advisors and all are in the same situation. The 4th dealer never returned my call after 2 attempts with 2 different Service advisors. The dealer I went with...
Congratulations on your purchase. This is what I bought. I never had and probably would never use the 3rd row but this liner is easily removed or folds if I need to use it.

I haven't looked into permanently disabling this but as soon as I put it in reverse it gives me an option to turn it off in the display. Doing it this way you have to disable it every time. This is for a 2014 model. Yours may be different.
It Looks like quick lube may have got the differential fluid right though. Not sure what weight they used and if it was synthetic but it was closer to being right than ATF. Lol Parts store employee says he gets quick lube stories every day.
Well, I am officially an idiot. Instead of Quick lube putting in the wrong fluid it was the new owner. Let me revise my question.
Do you think I should be concerned after driving a couple hundred miles with ATF in the differential? I will drain and install with 75W140 full synthetic this...
The same fluid for the transmission Mercon LV , is specified for the differential in the my manual. Maybe I was looking at wrong but I double checked. YouTube video I watched also read it the way I did.
First question here but I recently purchased 2014 King Ranch with 145k miles that has the appearance of being well taken care of. Previous owner relied on a quick-change lube for regular maint. Besides using an oil filter not even specified for any Ford they put gear oil in the differential...
As mentioned above, the cable from battery to inverter would need to be larger, the larger watt inverter you use. I think I saw my inverter above the rear wheel when looking around back there but it could have been something else. A run that long would most likely need a larger cable normally...
I have a 2014 with 3rd row seating and this is what I did. This was stuff left over from a van conversion. No drilling and mostly out of site. There are single point E track tie downs that I bolted 1 side down with the seat belt anchor bolt. It is not as strong as using 2 bolts but I have...
