Help!! Dealership doesn’t know what’s wrong

My first oil change after I bought it 3k miles after I bought truck was full synthetic high mileage 5w-30. Like I stated before, I had full intentions on taking care of this truck in every way. Still do. Just gotta find a way to afford another engine. Really don’t want to buy used. Dealership...

Help!! Dealership doesn’t know what’s wrong

Update#2 Final diagnosis was 9% low compression on cylinder 4. Dealer suggested that’s it’s only safe to drive home and park u til I get a new engine. Endurance warranty would not cover due to “pre existing condition.” Long story there but now I’m shopping for an engine.

Help!! Dealership doesn’t know what’s wrong

Thank you so much. I def would mention those things. Fingers crossed that they will approve it. It’s at the “because it’s a powertrain claim, someone has to come out to the dealership” phase now. I guess they need to verify what the dealership is suggesting.

Help!! Dealership doesn’t know what’s wrong

That was my old way of thinking. No longer. That was my thought also. If that’s the case, I would assume the phasers would not have already been replaced.

Help!! Dealership doesn’t know what’s wrong

You guys have all gave great suggestions. Thank y’all so much. Had it towed to a non dealership local mechanic. Ran compression tests. Said low compression on 2 cylinders. Told me the same thing as the dealership. Can go into to see what is exactly causing it but it could be anything and would...

Help!! Dealership doesn’t know what’s wrong

Update— Just heard back from the dealership a few mins ago. He said that there is low compression and that I will need a new engine. They said that they don’t know exactly what is causing the low compression without completely breaking the engine down and checking it but that would cost alone...

Help!! Dealership doesn’t know what’s wrong

Phasers have not been done to my knowledge. Could that cause the engine to misfire? They didn’t tell me anything about if which turbo could be possibly bad. Only that “the mechanic has had it in his bay for the last 3 days trying to figure it out.” I’m afraid that I might have to take it to...

Help!! Dealership doesn’t know what’s wrong

Little bit of background. I bought a 2018 limited last year with 175k miles on it. I know it was a lot but I got a great price and maintenance was done regularly. Fast forward to about last month, my cel came on and fordpass indicated there was a misfire. Took it to a local shop and they changed...
