I have 5 inches for my 35's. That's 3 inches of body lift, a 2 inch torsion crank in the front, and 2 inch coil spacers in the back. I know nothing about 2wd Expy's though. Someone will chime in.

You will need @ least 3-4" to get to a stock 4wd height. IMO, probably something along the line of a 5-6" suspension lift and 2-3"BL

you could do a spindle lift in the front along with a spacer kit then get 4-5 inches in the rear and run 35's

heres what i think i would do if i was you is use a bodylift kit like this one
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-97...r_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a5f1f5411

then use a spindle lift on the front like this one
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/97-0...ies&fits=Model:Expedition&hash=item53e45d7c1e

then use a coil spacer such as this
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-97...r_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item35ad5a96bd

or this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FORD...ies&fits=Model:Expedition&hash=item255df8f011 which a few of us here are using
the billet spacer is less exspensive and a few of us here have ran them and towed with them with no issues what so ever...

hope this helps you out

It could have been a fabtech f-150 front & a expy 4x4 rear. I've seen that & i wana do that for a 6' or 7.5'! But it way to expensive for me!

im not sure but i dont think you need to lengthen the drive shaft. if anything, you might have to lenthen the steering but im not 100% positive.

I run 35's and all I have is a 3" body lift. Get a little rub up front on the sway bar but thats about it, and thats only at full steering wheel lock.

yeah but huklebuk, you dont have a 2wd. i am running 35's with my 4" susp lift and the only time i rub is when at extreme flex.

a 3" BL will bring a 2wd up to about the same height as a stock 4x4. a 2wd with a 3" BL might be able to clear some 32's with minor trimming, if any at all.
