Looking for a pair of Gen 4 plain black running boards for a standard length 2019 Expy. I have an FX with the chrome boards with the rubber slotted inserts, and being steel, are rusting causing the chrome to bubble. Have checked facebook and craigs list weekly but no Gen 4 have shown up.
These are 84 inches in length, and just want the plain black boards. Brackets are not needed as mine are OK.
In Virginia and willing to drive a bit, but I realize shipping would be prohibitive so in area would be preferable.
Not a "must have now" item, but if you have or know where a Gen 4 is being parted out, let me know.

What are they worth to you, shipped? You can send me a PM. I have a pair on a 2023 police vehicle with 10,000 miles which I might sell. I think shipping is about $130.

I know it sounds low, but on facebook and craigs list there are dozens of Gen 3 and older, and even more F-150 newer truck running boards going for as little as $100 for the pair up to $300 depending on cab length/ style, ect. Salvage yards get more but I haven't considered them.
I was hoping to snag a pair for around $200 with me picking them up. I'd go that plus the shipping....

Not meaning to low-ball, but finding a pair is one of those "if I find em, OK....if I don't, no big deal" type searches. Sooner or later I will probably run across a pair.....

I understand. I'll keep them. Too much work to take them off and wrap them up. And yes, you will definitely find a pair of OEM ones or aftermarket; hopefully locally.

Heck, you two aren't that far apart. Split the drive and meet up. Give you two old guys something to do on a Saturday. It's only a 6 hour drive. Split it and enjoy.
